Yes, I've searched the forum, and maybe something is there but I can't find it. I've always had some 'minor' squealing from my PCCB brakes in the rain. Recently, I had damage to one of my rotors, and replaced the rotor and all the pads. Now the brake squeal is simply embarrassing. If it is damp out, the whole neighborhood knows when I pull up to the stop sign. Only squealing at low 'just before stop' speed. Yes, I've 'bedded' the brakes, and the noise goes away for a while, but comes back the next day. The car is basically undrivable in the wet (it is just incredibly embarrassing to pull up to a stop sign or light).

Yes, I'm pretty familiar with brakes and noise having gone through maybe 50 or so sets on my race/track cars. This is really disturbing though - is there a TSB on PCCB brakes? (The service technician asked me this when I brought the car in...). Anyhow, appreciate anyone's help on this.

I haven't seen any TSBs related to PCCB noise. You're running OEM pads? What's your bed in process look like?

This is common for all PCCB’s across all brands. The thing that makes these worse is that they are on an EV where mechanical braking is used very little during normal operating conditions. Driving it hard is the only practical way to deal with this and even then it won’t be 100% effective.

No, it isn't.
It's just the pads vibrating on a high frequency, it can even trigger the spring of the pads/sensors which will vibrate in sync as well.

Easy fix: just get the pads out and clean and "lubricate" the contact areas where the pads touch the caliper.
I'm on PCCBs too and never ever had a problem of brake squeal.
Brake squeal occurs when enough dust gets onto the pads/calipers.
That's why new cars never have this problem, it occurs over mileage/time.

I think you just simultaneously said that it’s not an issue, confirmed that it is an issue, speculated to the cause and prescribed a fix. I love the internet 😂.

I stand by what I said though and would encourage the OP to do some spirited driving periodically to make/keep things as optimal as possible.

I have PCCB's on another non-Porsche car, never hear a noise from them.

I have Titanium shims behind the pads and also copaslip grease behind the pads, both of these are anti-squeal measures.

No, I didn't.
Comprehensive reading.
My "No, it isn't" refers to your "common", not to the "issue" hence the exact quote.
