I got interested whenit said “view your personal rate comparison” - I thought perhaps they had taken my actual usage and calculated a personal mode … but no, it was just the same rate table.

If you go for the free non plus (after the three years free have finished), what becomes the price per kwh for ionity?
It depends on the country, but the rates for both the subscription and non-subscription are below:

With a Porsche Charging Service monthly subscription (PCS Plus)

Ok, so no discounted price for ionity anymore if you go for the basic subscription once the first three years have finished

There should be 3 tables? One for a PCS Plus, one for PCS "traditional", one with no membership.

I m in CH still on the "traditional" Porsche Charging service, until expiration in Oct 2026, no fixed monthly fee . When I use non-preferred 3rd party DC (>350 kw), let's say in italy, I'm currently paying 0.35 eur/Kwh + 0.35 eur/min. What would I pay if I were to switch to PCS Plus ? 0,69 per kwh and no price per minute (for the first 60 mins)? the new PCS plus would seem a lot more expensive in this case.

I like Ionity. Will probably switch to their "Ionity Passport" for HPC when my current Porsche charging service expires. Fair pricing, flexibility to switch between the passports depending on monthly usage, and a reliable charging experience.

I posted in a thread about Porsche Charging Plus not so long ago, and I included my own spreadsheet to compare costs with the legacy PCS and the new one. I can't for the life of me find it. In fact, when I search for my own posts, it comes up with one result. It's almost as if all my posts have been removed. I think it was even in this very thread where I posted it.

The general consensus is that the new PCS Plus is worse than the legacy PCS. With the legacy PCS and with average charging speeds on the Taycan, the non-preferred DC chargers worked out at €0.49 per kWh when you include the time element. The new lower prices come closer to that at €0.59 per kWh, but still not as good.

With handover due next Friday Im just getting my head around the Swiss charging ecosystem and plethora of apps (chargeprice etc). I've bought a 15 month old car registered to the dealer 11/23. Does anyone know if I should be getting the remainder of the Charging Plus or is that just new cars? My sales guy is rather vague.

Im unlikely to have home charger for first six months as Im moving and it probably doesnt make sense even to rig up a 400V industrial socket for the mobile charger connect (plus this isnt really allowed). I figure I can get about 8000km (25kw/100km @60rp charger vs @30rp at home) for the 600chf I reckon the wiring might cost.

Yes, when you get a used car from an OPC they should transfer the Charging Service to you along with the other online services. If it works as it did for mine, you should get whatever is left out of 3 years from the date of first registration. Mine required a free renewal after one year for no apparent reason.
Make the OPC do it before you drive away, just in case the previous owner didn't set it up properly.

Hi, yes when buying an used car here in CH (or anywhere), the buyer will get the remaining time on the "Porsche Charging Service Taycan".
When it's over, you can get on the "Charging Service" (free? No special price at Porsche lounges, Ionity and co.) OR on the "Charging Service Plus" (17CHF/month, and it seems: 25CHF/kWh starting next year; 0.38CHF/kWh at Ionity and co.) OR just cancel it.
Just use the "Charging Plus Taycan" for the time you'll receive it. Maybe complete it with some other networks (Tesla, Liddl, SwissCharge...).

Your situation depends on where you live and what charger networks are close to your house and/or close to where you drive to. Maybe check ChargePrice to see what networks would be best for you.

Yeah for this, we're not in the best country: often installation cost >2.5k CHF, with a cost of 0.25 CHF/kWh (in apartment complexes; cheaper in individual houses). As I have a Supercharger close to my place, I skipped getting a home charger - I calculated it would make sense only after 56 000 km.

Fortunately, Taycan has 1) a large battery and 2) a very fast charging curve. Meaning that one can use it like a gas car, filling it up only when needed.

I'll make sure they set it up as I often drive past Porsche Zentrum Zug where Im getting the car and they have some beefy chargers and a fun showroom and seating areas, coffee counter.

ChargePrice looks very useful indeed. Fitting into my usual routing, the local Migros has two cheaper 60kW chargers that never seem too busy, and there's an "discounted" 28rp AMAG Charge:On 2x150kW site on the way back from golf course and next to a McDo.

eah for this, we're not in the best country: often installation cost >2.5k CHF, with a cost of 0.25 CHF/kWh (in apartment complexes; cheaper in individual houses).
We're moving into a newbuild so it's under 2k all-in as a "mehrkost" and we'll have about 20kW of solar capacity shared between 5 houses in one ZEV, so I will get in for convenience and future proofing.
