Hi Guys,
Here I am charging at a Porsche designated charger. Do you have these at your country?
BTW, after this rapid charge I got a park assist error message. Wonder if its related.
Cheers guys.

We have these high power 350kW chargers appearing at Porsche dealers in the UK (photos Porsche Perth). It costs to charge, cannot remember how much.

I’m pretty sure it is massively expensive (more than ionity fast chargers etc). But obviously very convenient, and you can go into the showroom and get free coffee and cakes to help offset the costs!

We have exactly the same type of charger here in France. Some of them have limited power supply to the station, but being upgraded. Slowly. The cost to charge at these I think is up to each dealership, but they are included in the Porsche Charging service. Some of them charge as much as any third party charger, ie both a kWh charge nd a minute charge. Still worth it. And as stated above some free coffee and biscuit??

If only they worked reliably in Aberdeen!

Turns out not all dealerships are 'equal' and the ones in Aberdeen (exact same units as the ones pictured) will not authenticate public (i.e. Taycan owners) users with their Taycan Charge Cards (!!!!!!!). Since they've been installed, repaired, repaired again, relocated, repaired yet again I have only ever got one to work once (since last year) and even then due to the limitation on the Taycan card was provided with the dealership's card to get a 'free' charge. PATHETIC!!

The only positive is that they are now accessible 24x7 as they were originally behind barriers which closed when the dealership closed (yes, really!). Not sure what use they actually are until someone figures that paying customers may actually want to use and rely on them.

Installed at a hefty 6 figure £ sum and rapidly becoming the elephant in the room - same dealership (Peter Vardy) owns the Porsche Centre Perth so you'd reasonably expect them to be as operational and available as they seem to be.

Other sore point is that they don't even appear on the Porsche Charging App or Planner - astonishing really!

0.31p to charge with your Taycan Charge card.

It really is a hit and miss with the Porsche chargers. Some are open 24/7 others with restricted opening and some you need tho go into the dealership to get started.

I have used a few with the charge planner and they show up, but it is far from every charger. Here are two examples of one in Italy and one in Luxembourg. No idea why they have such inconsistency. You would think that they would promote them so that they get some return on their investments? Seems a little bit that Porsche are not really serious about their EV‘s. Perhaps they would have been better off launching the Taycan under a separate organisation that just focused on EV’s.Similar to what Polestar and Volvo have done??

Perhaps but if it didn't say Porsche I wouldn't have bought a Taycan - better the devil you know and all of that.

Toyota took years to make Lexus a brand and VW are trying hard with Cupra (aka SEAT) - Porsche is a readymade iconic brand.

The Porsche charger can be used for free in Hong Kong. I have attached the charge rate for you yo see.
I normally use a 20kw charger to be kinder to my battery.

I charge every Friday at my local Porsche dealer. Never get 350kwh but it does climb to 150kwh when the battery gets to 30*c. Not sure all the negativity here. I can't even charge at home and I am not complaining.

It's nothing to do with negativity - statement of fact from my perspective of a poorly implemented public / customer service and not what you'd reasonably expect from a long established dealership let alone brand - even the staff are embarrassed when asked about it.

Home charging is a winner 24x7x365 and fortunately a mainstay for me.
