Has anyone experienced the above?

I have noticed the past couple of weeks the air compressor has been running a lot more than usual in the car but there were no warning errors.

I left work and had a “low chassis height” yellow warning. I stopped and all appeared fine and the warning disappeared.

This went back and forth for a few days and eventually I came out to the car and the rear nearside was completely deflated, and the air spring has a leak.

It’s been to Porsche and they are now saying there is external damage that has caused the failure as it looks as though the tyre has rubbed on the upper part of the air bag due to the suspension being too low and the wheels cambering in. The lower part of the airbag bag is leaking though!

Now if the air bag has developed a fault and the car has lowered that significantly, surely that’s a contributory factor of the air spring failing and not my fault running the car causing more damage.

Interestingly the other side has also been touching the inside of the wheel due to the chassis dropping so low on the rear so the upper bellows part of the airbag is perished also but the air bag is holding pressure fine.

Car is under warranty with Porsche til oct 27 but I have a feeling they are going to fight me on this
