Rear camera washer misses the target

On a Sport Turismo (J1.2) when I trigger the rear windscreen wash, some water is supposed to go over the camera. Mine seems to miss it (I can see water being sprayed, but too low). Does anyone know how the mechanism works or whether there is a simple fix I can do? Is the nozzle the little dot on lower left?
