Vehicle is now at the dealer for HV reactivation and I’m being told the pyro fuse has deployed and that it is not available separately from the HV battery.

For anyone who has been through this:

Was the entire battery actually replaced, or is there a Porsche repair procedure for the pyro disconnect?


Is this tied purely to the crash event logic or did you have additional internal battery faults?

I did a quick search.
it appears that after a severe impact the hv battery isolator can disconnect the hv battery for safety purposes.
The hv battery may need to be removed as that is required to access this part, the isolator might be able to be reset, or a replacement can be ordered/configured/installed. The are multiple suffixes that may be variations of the part but a sample is this:
