Another one for standard interior being just fine. But it’s all about you here. Overall the standard interior is still faux leather wrapped about everywhere you can see unlike most standard interiors

for comparison I have an X7 50i with the individual full leather package, one of the most lux options in the business and it’s fine in that car but a Porsche just didn’t need it. 5K can be better used elsewhere to much better utility. Tbh I have sat in almost all taycan interiors and the leather just isn’t that much more comfortable. They are all pretty stiff and hard from standard to club olea. This isn’t like a Bentley gt where you really get a remarkable leather product for the price.

ok after rambling here I’ll just say it, full leather is downright disappointing in the taycan.

It’s not only about the leather. It’s all the plastic you get instead.

I configured the base Black/Limestone Beige interior in my 4S and I think it's just fine. No complaints as it looks and feels very premium.

I’d spend the $4700 up-charge Porsche charges for the full leather or $7100 for the Olea Club on more useful performance-based options or even the Burmester.
I'm between all black w/Neodyme (which I think looks awesome), or black/beige no neodyme. I guess either way, I'll be happy :)

I've been in both and the full leather is of course better than the standard w/o leather. The issue is that it definitely is not $4100 better -- if it was $1k or $2k I think no brainer, but its really not that special.

Standard limestone beige has been fine for me. I did not think full leather was worth the cost. Occasionally I'm a little disappointed looking at the dashboard material and stitching compared to the full leather I have in my X7, but most of the time I'm enjoying the car so much I don't think about it.

Uh i have spent plenty of time in the standard interior and it’s entirely wrapped in faux leather. Handles, seat backs everything. There is surprisingly little plastic.

as the above poster mentioned at 4 or 7k the full and club leather is a very disappointing product.

Maybe we are talking about different things. The standard „free“ interior is a lot of hard and soft plastic on the dash/cockpit…

Think I need the insulated glass, it’s hot as hell in LA.
The insulated glass blocks cell signals. I'd advise against it, just get 90-70% window tint on the front windshield at 35% or more elsewhere.

Drove demo car with standard interior and from the second I took the seat I knew I will never order the car without full leather. It reminded me of my friend’s GLE AMG that has crazy rims and rear seat tv screens but not full leather interior. The plastic on the dash is in front of you all the time while driving. In my opinion it makes the car lose a ton of luxury feel.
I am completely of the same opinion, after having two full leather Macan ...
My CT , if delivered one day ... , will be full leather, 18 way seats, heated and ventilated , bose

Spec the full leather and save elsewhere imho.

From your build personally I would have it before the rear axel steering and insulated glass.
Absolutely NOT. Both RWD and insulated glass are MUST HAVES IMHO

This is a very good question and the option I am struggling with the most as I approach my lock date. Right now, I am thinking full leather black/limestone beige with my Gentian Blue RWD. I consider full leather black as well. However, I will be able to see a standard leather in a couple weeks.
Glad to see that you're no longer considering Olea...

Came from full leather with deviated stitching Macan. Don't miss it at all.

The standard interior in Taycan has little plastic, most pieces are covered in a faux leather, same that's used if you get racetex.

Sorry to disagree—but my iPhone worls annoyingly well despite the noise and insulated glass option.

I get it's an unpopular opinion but each to their own.

Insulated glass to me doesn't bring a raft of benefit but some downsides have been noted with signal issues detailed in other threads.

RAS is to the taste of the individual. I've driven with and without and for me I would have it but not at the sacrifice of full leather.

Also have a look at your keyboard as I think your caps lock is broken.
