Spy car picture ......

This car pulled over next to mine at a charging station . Had a brief chat with the driver , he claims 300 - 310 miles range on full charge but wouldn't say car make or model. He was more keen on to talk about Taycan ?. Kept saying he likes Taycan !

It was with Michigan license plate . I believe it's BMW. Any guesses ?

Audi. Look at the shape of the rear lights - the ending splits in a fishtail/chevron reminiscent of the e-tron GT’s. The pronounced rake of the upper trunk edge, and some of the visible taillight does suggest BMW, but it’s also too busy (lots of little leds, very Audi).

And if there were any doubts, the camouflaging confirms it - it’s the same pattern!

What’s not a joke, though, is the split-headlight styling on the new Avant. (Will they call it “the EVant”?)

310 mile range! Must be like Porsche Taycan range for the GTS is 300 miles. Mine’s never been anywhere near 300!

I managed to get 3.3mi/kwh last night on an 18 mile run, as a test, in my GTS. But life’s too short for that, emergencies only and it was not a good look doing 55 in the slow lane of the m25
