I need some recommendation for steering wheel leather care. I have tried number of products, and can’t find one that meets my needs. Most of the products after cleaning and conditioning leave the steering wheels slippery to me. I remember when the car was brand new, had that soft yet non-slippery feeling. Anyone has any recommendation?

All purpose cleaner used vigorously with a Microfibre cloth has always got that oily slick surface off for me

I use Sonax cleaner, followed by the conditioner for my interior:

cleaner:
Premium Class Leather Cleaner
Porsche Taycan Steering Wheel leather care help IMG_1386

conditioner:
Profiline Leather Protection (1L size) or the equivalent smaller Premium Class Leather Care Cream

The conditioner in particular is the best I’ve used for maintenance and keeping the OEM look and feel; dries very quickly, no greasy or sticky residue, and smells like Porsche leather?

Leather must be matte, not shiny at all.
Because it's a newer car, conditioner probably isn't required.
If your hands are oily a lot,.you can use this brands conditioner, which coats the leather to prevent dye transfer and protects from oils.

This is the best one right now. Get the most mild.
Every 3 months you should clean the leather. If I see a hint of gloss, I'm cleaning my leather.

As a Best practice, I always wash my hands before entering the car

Forget the so-called leather cleaners, as they have protective ingredients. As mentioned earlier, an All Purpose Cleaner (APC) rubbed vigorously and rubbed again will remove the grease and leave a matt clean finish. Shiny is bad as it means it is oily and greasy from your hands. Do this every two months on a daily driver. I use expensive detailing products on my car, but the steering wheel gets cleaned with an APC or even washing-up liquid. It really does shift the grease.

Man Love Matt's curated products, but the shipping to CA is more than the product he sells usually. It is down to colourlock and this one. Based on my research.

Weird that my Tyacan, has always been on the smooth/slippery side even as new. Wasn't the same with my BMWs. Wife's of course is another story and we know the reason for it... haha.

I just use my interior cleaner (right now it's carpro inside, 15:1 dilution) on my leather and race-tex surfaces.

I might try it, most of my products as Koch chemie, and few left overs chemical brothers and adams's I have All purpose cleaner from Koch Chemie, and Interior Cleaner from Chemical Brothers. As well Leather cleaner from chamical bothers that used today and was just ok, didn't bring the leather to Matte

It's definitely a rip off.
There is no more ColourLock. Koch Cemie bought them out.

I still have a ton of ColourLock for leather and Alcantara.

A note on APC for leather. Because it's almost like living skin, it needs to be treated as such.
APC will decrease, but also remove the moisture, which overtime, will be an issue.
Think of your own skin and how to protect it.

You're not far from me. I have a lot of ColourLock. You can just use mine to see how it works.

Windex on microfiber. Clean and degrease well. Whatever you are going to say it worked like a charm.
