Surround View Cameras Not Showing

So when I select surround view only my front and back cameras show up. The other cameras are not there to select. Any thoughts on what is causing this? I tried to research this but I couldn't find anything.

It just shows the camera in front and back. Mine is MY22 so I just found some information that all 8 cameras no longer show. Just front back and then the selection for the 2 side cameras. Not sure why that was changed.

Does anyone even know how to use the surround view camera? I have tried everything and can't figure it out. Not a super useful feature for me so I'm not sweating it but still.

I don’t think I ever got the 3D view where you can pan around. Just the overhead view.

The 3D buttons are missing / not visible, but it is possible to press them by using the touchpad. Navigate to the rear camera, then either one down or one left/right (can't remember). Give it a couple of tries and you'll get there. The 3D mode is pretty good.

That is possibly Porsche's intent, but I don't have it and my description above is at least a workaround.

I’m noticing the same thing. From what the manual says, there is supposed to be a selection for the side mirrors, and a selection Of a camera that say 3D View. Neither are present on my car (Park Assist enabled). I have surround view (part of the Premium Package). Just another on the list for the dealer to solve…or explain ?.

There is a hack which works on MY20 and MY21 and probably MY22 cars. Search the forum for instructions. Faff to use and you'll soon get bored with it.

4 physical camera only and a bird's eye surround view is what you get.

To get the full 3D experience you now need to option the Remote Parking Assist which bundles this with other features. Ridiculously expensive for what it is

Thanks for that info, W1NGE! ?. Found the hack and tried it out. It worked..got the fingering right and you are correct… its a bit of a gimmick..
