That is just an option for all trims which don’t include it, so definitely not excessive to the black edition.

Nothing. It was more a comment on the Black Edition being a spec'd 4S versus one of the faster variants.

I ordered a 911 Black Edition back in 2016. Its a parts bin spec that saved me a couple of thousand dollars off of the same car spec'd without being a Black Edition. It was neutral on resale and didn't hold any special value. Historically, this spec is introduced a couple of years before a major design refresh. In my case, the car was a 2016 991 and I believe the 992 was launched in late 2018.

In UK all Taycans from base up have PB+ as standard already.

You know we’re nearing the end of the GEN one when they start releasing black editions.

But we’re still at least two years away from the next Taycan.
