You forgot the ' Offroad Design Package' a must for a CT....
Essential?
I don't like the look and I have no functional need so an easy saving of cash and weight for me ;)

In racing cast iron brakes give the best feel and performance of all material when cold, which they mostly will be with an EV with as much regenerative braking as the Taycan, so unless you want the looks the standard brakes are probably a better choice, that is why I chose them and they are plenty good enough when pressing on.
The most popular option in my family is the massage and ventilated seats FWIW.
I stuck with the sculpted ally roof, it is lighter and looks much, much nicer than the glass to me, and I detest the look of privacy glass so we don't find the cabin too dark.
I also went for all the chassis dynamics options (though PDCC not full active, of course) and the difference to a standard CT4S is marked on the twisty, uneven and subsided roads around here.

Those are the things I would "need" in my spec. Colours both inside and out are too personal for me to comment on.

They probably cancelled it until R&D says they fixed it for good.

In zhe German forum it's said to become available again later this year and there will be an option to upgrade for some extra money for existing cars. Of course more money than it would have cost from the factory.

I am a bit perplexed by the sport chrono pack required to access the Sport Plus mode.

"Sport Plus mode with performance-oriented tuning of chassis, Porsche Active Aerodynamics and temperature control of the performance battery"

What do i get that i cannot otherwise setup myself through the instrument cluster shortcuts ?

Otherwise:
- GT multifunction sports steering wheel including steering wheel heating: never gonna use it
- High-quality compass
- - Integrated Sport Chrono tile with recording of lap times and telemetry data, including the possibility to add your own tracks as well as analyze sectors and laps
- Push-to-pass: releases up to 82 PS additional power for a duration of approx. 10 s*
- PSM Sport mode: PSM ? Applies to Active Ride ?
- Track Endurance Mode

Does anyone know at which periodicity Porsche releases new build slots ? Is that a monthly process ?
My dealer's timeline for their two waves of launch cars implied 3 months of leadtime to production (which really isn't much, except perhaps for the vanilla configurations they tend to order) ?

Local Taycan launch today.
The showroom cars ordered in February have arrived and what a "treat".
One Dolomite CT4 with pano roof, two crayon 4S sedans, all in barebone configuration with standard seats, standard partial "leather" (awful, Hyundai-esque, about as bad as BMW Vernasca), except for Sport Chrono clocks.

Cannot begin to understand with they launch with such underwhelming configurations, they do not seem to know themselves. Not sure why they would not want to have more loaded showroom cars to upsell customers

Question: standard features list says "Charging Cable (Mode 3)". Does this mean a simple type 2 cable ? Does Porsche really deliver Taycans without any means to charge at home and makes 110V/220V AC chargers an upsell option ?

Still on the fence whether to take the Sport chrono pack.
Description of Sport Chrono says, depending on countries:

  • Push to Pass function which releases an additional 80 hp for approximately 10 seconds
  • Sport Plus mode with performance-oriented chassis tuning, Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) and temperature control of the battery
  • Integrated Sport Chrono tile with recording of lap times and telemetry data, including the possibility to add your own tracks as well as analyze sectors and laps
  • PSM Sport Mode
Does it mean that Sport Chrono, the car does not have Sport and Sport Plus mode ?
Push to pass is a gimick to me, and I don't understand why there would still the Drive Mode knob on the steering wheel if Sport & Sport Plus modes are not available ?

The Sport mode is always available.

PSM Sport Mode is a more relaxed mode of the stability control.
It allows more wheel spin and more sideways action.
But it's still active to save your butt - other than in PSM off.

Order signed and deposit made today !
Very opportunistic September build slot suddenly materialized at one of the two dealerships i was in contact with, the other guys still seem clueless.

Cannot say that it is a particularly euphorizing experience. It is merely diligent administrative sales support, helping to navigate the rough seas of a very odd go-to-market strategy. It is really hard to square the distributor and dealership strategy with the professed personalization/sonderwunsch ethos of the brand.

Gentian blue CT4S (no ST in Malaysia). Delivery December-January after 8w on the sea. Excited to join this club !

Now if the malaysian ringgit can stop appreciating, it would be nice.

Congrats, hope you get some more information on how the build is going and delivery than I am. Ordered in May and no clue when I get the car...

And there's already a snag. My order was rejected by the factory because of option 6RD contrasting stitching. Only available from October production, but my slot is for September, so i either drop the option, or snooze and loose, and then be what may.
