Final config going to freeze: PSCZH965
Late addition of option 6FJ (glossy mirror trim) on the judicious advice of @SergeyIndy (thanks again).

Production completion now spilling over beginning February. Delivery not before early May. All of this because deviated stitching meant passing on a September slot.

Still plenty of time to figure out the home and mobile charger solutione.

Let me chime in the context of the rationale provided. Most are why nots, but totally respecting personal preference for everything you have chosen so far.

- Why not "Ice Grey Metallic" since it is richer and lighter and matches Chalk interior better
- Why not add free " Tyre Sealing Compound and Electric Air Compressor"
- Why not 14-way Seats that allow for Massage function. I always chose 18-ways on other cars, but 14-ways look and fit the narrow interior better, so I went for them and added Massage function.
- Why not choose this to remove the lower plastic from the mirrors and match gloss black window surrounds " Exterior Mirror Lower Trims painted in Exterior Colour including Mirror Base painted in Black (high-gloss)". This is not a well known option, but you will see that plastic on the mirror every time you look out from the driver seat.
- Why not PSCB for the reason of no brake dust. Yes, brakes are rarely used but the brake dust from steel brakes will still be there and the rotors will develop rust as normal look vs. mirror like look for PSCBs.
- Why not this to remove hard plastic from sill guards and B-pillar " Inner Door Sill Guards and inner Trim B-Pillars Leather"
- Why not " Night Vision Assist" for detecting animals and pedestrians at night.
- Why not " Air Quality System". Is the air quality good in the area. This helps the efficiency of the air filters by ionizing the particles, so they clump together for better capture in the filter.
No brake dust on standard steel brakes either for the same reason there isn't any on PSCB or PCCB - the electric motors do most of the braking.

My build start date was floating in the first week of February, then held to Jan 29th until ... a week later when the V260 actual date got updated to Feb 5th. At least they started building the thing.

A small last minute 1w delay with big consequences: the ex port date got bumped a hole SIX WEEKS today to mid May, so the Porsche center now sees delivery slipping into June.

One would think that the VW Group has weekly roro slots to Asia ?

Ironically, one of the scenes in the 3D configurator is a view at Jewel in Singapore, a short drive away, but getting the car here is now morphing into a 10 months journey.

V260 achieved Feb 5th, V300 now bumped to first week of March. Some part(s) missing, evidently.
Is anyone else seeing their V300 delayed ?

V300 had been bumped by a month, and suddenly:
V300 actual 19.2, 6 months to the day after placing the order.
Entry port Bremerhaven 21.2.
Dealership entry 27.4

So the car must be on a Roro now. Progress !

To celebrate delivery of this long awaited car (9m+1w from purchase order to delivery), I celebrated with a proper car2car shoot with a local team in Kuala Lumpur. Very happy with the result. With the Merdeka 118 tower in the background, second tallest building in the world behind the Burj al Khalifa in Dubai.

Just wish i had known how to put the car in low setting other than through Range mode.

We also went downtown, different mood, unplanned opportunity.

I am really happy with the car except for one thing: I really dislike the weaving tail-jerking behavior in Normal mode. I was expecting vertical floatiness, but not yaw. Active Ride is otherwise very good, in particular for the bumps that only exist for the car in front, and for the body control in roll and pitch.

Fortunately, there is Sport/Sport+, and the car feels brilliantly planted, poised and adjustable. It is the only EV i have driven which does not squat & squirm under torque delivery. What Porsche achieved is very impressive. Brake feel excellent too, initial bite, regen power, accuracy, no idea why some people complain about it. It is a ridiculously, hilariously capable car.

It is only a 4S, but it feels balistic so far. Push to pass feels completely superfluous by now.

Other pros:
- excellent driving position, excellent 18 way seats
- excellent build and finish quality
- super silent (double glazing)

Dislikes
- entry/egress is a pain, even with PAR and comfort entry
- touch keyless works randomly, unlocking upon approach is mandatory
- a big car with no space, even for your access cards
- NVH not the last word in automotive refinement with these PZero Elect tyres

One hasty pic of the inside and a tribute to deviated stitching. Paid a lot, waited even more, but i enjoy it every day. Worth it.

What a journey and amazing pictures.

Keyless entry, check fob batteries as they go dead quickly, I check mine with a meter and replace as soon as they are not full strength.

PAR in Normal may be fixable via a software update. I would definitely read error codes to see if something is not right with sensors or communication. I just did a scan using @prj software and all errors are interpretated and helpful to see if there is anything going on. This PAR tech is brand new with a lot more to go I am sure on the tuning side after they get more real world data, such as what you are experiencing.

Reports are that the team of 7 took 3 years to tune PAR for the Taycan, and I remember a number of 6,000 hours. It would be hard to believe that they would not have caught the behavior that you are experiencing unless this is due to physical limits that they cannot control.

I had to leave the car undriven for 5.5 weeks.

Followed the instructions, connected to charger with 50% SOC target, key in a faraday box, stayed clear of the My Porsche app, and the car was alive and well upon return.

It is sort of baffling that this would be notable, but i am glad to find that this went as fine as it should.

First crossing to Singapore. Unplanned so dirty car. Crazy narrow lanes at immigration, the width of the Taycan is a chilling experience in such conditions.
