neither does Porsche. What annoys me is that in this clever digital age, we are still getting manuals describing every option that we don’t have. Given that the manual is delivered to the app, it would be only a very small step for Porsche to customise the manual based on the current configurations of each car.he doesn’t seem to know … what is optional equipment vs. standard equipment.
Agreed re in this day and age delivery of relevant digital copy should not be a hassle at all - of course the 'legal gibberish' tends to make the manual burdensome to say the least - for ref, my first port of call would be the GTK app (for pretty much everything in that video too) and accessing the actual manual would be a last resort - which in itself again is telling!neither does Porsche. Also I think it is sad that people get to make videos monetising the gap left because Porsche right bad manuals. The manual is full of warnings, and it’s hard to find the content even for those us who do RTFM.
Sounds good; but the GTK app just sends me to the My Porsche app so I have never been able to use it.for ref, my first port of call would be the GTK app
Hmm - thats odd! Mine works just fine - rechecked it right now and def separate to the MyPorsche app - perhaps because I downloaded so long ago it is still operable? I can certainly see the rationale to consolidate all into one app and indeed had not seen that note re their intended future plans. Thx for update!Sounds good; but the GTK app just sends me to the My Porsche app so I have never been able to use it.
I see in their release notes that the GTK app “will be shut down at the end of June 2023”
My manual has much to be desired. The index refers to pages that are incorrect, making it very difficult to locate functions. Someone goes out of their way to make a video simplifying the learning process, should, at the least, not be criticized for it.Hardly 'easter eggs' - everything in here are std. features as described in the GTK app and/or your manual - but still a good summary of features you may not be aware of since you did not read said manual!
The PCM reboot might be considered an 'easter egg' as not generally referred to in either GTK or manual (if I recall correctly).
Definition of an Easter Egg is something not in a manual - 99% in video is in the manual. My manual has much to be desired.
