Taycan navigation issue: Navigation restarts randomly.

Hi all,

For a month, I have started to have a strange issue: my navigation randomly restarts and loses the destination. If I set it again, the navigation will restart and lose the destination again. Today, on a 120km drive, the navigation restarted 10 times. It is super annoying.

I read in other places that many people experience this issue. I noticed that if I switch off the route planner, the navigation works fine, and as soon as I switch the route planner on again, the navigation starts resetting.

Did anyone book an appointment for this? Should I book an appointment, or is it a software issue and we should wait for an update to fix it?

As an immediate fix switching off the Porsche Charging Planner option stopped the crashes. Since my AD upgraded PCM to 3885 and Navi to 12.2025 the crashes seem to have stopped even with that option activated. YMMV

Thank you for the information! I have an appointment at Porsche Zug next week regarding an issue I have had for years now with the cameras, which randomly fail.... I will tell them about this issue and ask them to update the PCM to the latest version. I hope this fixes the issue. Amazing car, but so many small stupid issues.

They are my AD too. The service team seem aware of the issue. The service manager said he'd just got another phone call for the same issue when I went to pick it up. They also did a 12v battery service notice item.
