That's what I thought but I found it can be deselected in he audio section.

I agree, something's off. If I start with a base Taycan 4S, it's $113,350. When I add just the technology and premium packages listed at $5,300 and $7,240 respectively, the total jumps to $132,770. That's with the least expensive or $0 options selected. Doesn't look right to me, as if they charge for the package and then almost double charge for the components.

I'll take a lot of comfort in knowing that my GTS is built and sat at Emden waiting for a boat to Grimsby. If optioning now would be a £4,230 increase and no Free Dashcam wiring

The model selection page lists the old prices. As you start building a specific model, watch the running total - that one is accurate. Also, as it’s been pointed out earlier, Burmester is now included by default in the Premium package at 7k, and can’t be de-selected until further down in the configurator.

Most likely bugs in the e-store - we saw these with last year’s increase.

My 4S CT build was $140,300, I couldn’t order the exact same vehicle today (no Mamba Green) but looks like the same options with Gentian Blue (backup color choice) would be $151,630. I didn’t add the matrix lights on my Taycan since US vehicles don’t have the full functionality but they are included now in the Premium Package, option pack prices have went up here in the US over what they were just yesterday.

Could you get Mamba Green through PTS+? So it might be there, just went up in price a lot.

This - PEC delivery a whopping 500 -> 2000 raise. I guess that's one way to reduce congestion at the 917 restaurant ?

Perhaps after reading about fly-and-drives like yours (or mine), Porsche decided to encourage fly-and-drives by upping the PEC price. There is no better way to get to know your Taycan.

Just for fun, I loaded my Turbo CT build, $7,700 increase total increase. The entire increase is from base price ($7500) and delivery, processing and handling fee($200). All the options show no changes at all in price, but they are all still there (including the dashcam pre-wire for $130, which is apparently now gone in the UK).

The funny thing is that model year is not shown anywhere anymore. Also, I cannot make a Porsche code for the build:

I wonder if this means they have not finished entering MY24 specs and prices into the configurator and what we're seeing is some interim version for which you will never get an allocation. Or maybe this is just he MY23 increase, MY24 is still coming?

In France the configurator says this when you load a MY23 config.

No, I loaded it just to see how much the prices went up. In the past, there was a message telling me the prices have changed for new model year and it would show me the changes. This happened for MY21->MY22 and MY22->MY23. I finally managed to buy a MY23, so this was just a curiosity exploration.

Not only have several colours been removed from the standard choices, cherry, Mamba and mahogany I noticed, maybe others too, but quite a few PTS are blanked and showing a red cross too.

Simplifying their supply chain and production? There is a reason why most manufacturers don't offer that many options. Perhaps now that Porsche has gone public, they are looking to maximize profit, which unfortunately sometimes means limit choices.

Once a company has shareholders expecting dividends it goes downhill IME.
