.... my kid through up in the back seat while laughing

I recently sold my CT4 as I moved to Europe and today I went to visit my parents (eastern europe) and borrowed my business partner 2021 4S (sedan).

For the first time ever I drove a Taycan on mountain roads and oh my god! (and I owned one for 3 years). This car is insane fast. We did 210 KPH on the highway like we were just cruising. It's so much faster and powerful than the 4.

After 30 minutes of mountain roads in sport+ my son said, daddy I vomited all over the place. He is never car sick.

I felt so bad but then I thought I need to buy a tacan again

I’ve done a spit-take and even a sneeze-toot, never had a laugh-puke before!

vomit = driving style issue. I think you were more aggressive.

Also imagine the performance difference in a j1.2 and GTS/Turbo models

I'm just leaving the Utah mountains today. I'm glad you love the cars, they're amazing! Been enjoying the mountain roads here.

But I hope you weren't driving 130mph/210kpm through the mountain curves!! The closest I've come to that speed is 120mph while passing on a straight Colorado road with 3 miles of visibility and only one car (the one I was passing .) I just bought my 4CT and, wow, I went from 80mph to that faster than I expected.

I stick to low speeds when my kid is in the car. Americans tend to overdrive their SUVs and don't need some idiot in and Escalade thinking he can stop faster than a Porsche.

In my opinion the 4s is the sweet spot. Plenty fast enough and hugely responsive. I drove a turbo loaner and yes it is faster but who needs it. I don’t.

I did not drive that fast on the mountain road, but on the highway.

On the mountain road I did what it felt fun and in control but it was very twisty

I want to drive a GTS or Turbo once but I agree 4S is enough (4 was ok also)

If I'm reading @prj's test results correctly, on pre-facelift/J1.1 Taycans, a tuned 4 produces 49% more power than an untuned 4S, and slightly more torque. A tuned J1.1 4 and 4S have identical power and torque. This is with his MapEV tune, specifically.
