My rears got foggy the other day and stayed that way for a good few days… but now it’s ok.

You may find that they go mouldy and need replacing.
Mine fogged like that and some time later they had quite a lot of green algae grow inside them at each end!

Replaced under warranty.

Moisture is the smaller problem for the headlights. The headlights are build from some cheap plastic which pits like crazy. They were clear when I picked the car up new from the dealer, by the time I got home (3,500 miles later) the headlights were covered in tiny pits/scratches. No point replacing them every long trip. Windshield is the next worst surface, not nearly as bad as the headlights, but still way to soft. Sometimes I think Porsche is designing their cars to be museum pieces, or mancave decorations. I've owned many cars in the past, none were like that (including a 2001 911C4 I owned and drove a lot when it was new). Cost savings on materials? I somehow don't see soft headlight lens covers to be a performance benefit.

I think you made a good choice , driving taycan gives me real pleasure but I sometimes miss the loud sport exhaust sound of 718 tough☺
Yeah, I was quite surprised over how nimble and precise the heavy Taycan actually felt — it's only during higher speeds in the bends and when breaking that I clearly feel the difference against the Cayman (despite plus ~900 kg!), otherwise the handling characteristics feels very similar to me.

Also, the ride comfort of the Taycan is superior to both the Cayman and the RS6, so I'm now considering selling the RS6 again and just drive the Taycan all year round (and while I also love the exhaust sound of a powerful ICE — especially the gurgle and pops and bangs of the 4.0L V8TT FSI — it's not my top priority).

I came to the Taycan from a Panamera Turbo-S. I too miss the V8 noises but everything else in the Taycan more than makes up for it.

I totally agree with you and also I love the aggresive and sporty look of taycan with four comfortable seats☺
