The car tax in Ireland I think is the most expensive in EU. The cost of a new Porsche is 30-40% more than in the US and UK.

France is not far behind I think. The Malus tax on a good 911 new is now about 70 000 Euros for CO2 and registration! Not sure what it equates to in percentage but it hurts a lot. On a BMW M4 it will be the same 70 k Euro at a starting price of about 115,000 Euros. So 60%!

Agreed. 911 Base model €189K. Taycan '25 base model €110.5K here.

Just got my first service on a Taycan done today at Porsche Centre Dublin. It is in because it hit 30,000km – rather than two years old.

Total of €382.06 (£327).

Quite impressed with that. New Taycan loaner given and my car returned same day.

Considering its a Turbo S and I drive it as such: happy to see factory summer tyres at 5mm all round and only 10% of brake pads worn.

So consider a road-trip in Ireland this summer and incorporate a service visit!

I'm tempted to visit from South Bucks! Love Dublin

My service is due in July - Porsche West London quoted 667.46 inc VAT...

Brooklands quote £1540.06 but have got brake fluid change, the door sill trim "work" and water drains "work"

Just had a quote from Tewkesbury for the 2 year service of £551. I didn’t go into what they do for that, just booked it in. £15 for loaner, even though they are doing the ARB0 recall at the same time. They mentioned changing the brake fluid as part of the service- pretty reasonable if that is included

2 yr service will include brake fluid (hydroscopic fluid and so is time bound) - mandatory.

The tyre doesn't looks about the right price compared to the UK.

2yr service not so much (Though international comparisons can be hard - taxes, local competition etc).

I got the same price from Porsche Reading. My local (Bristol) wanted £1200, as did the others in the same group. Great service from Reading, and a quiet work area (plus lunch laid on).
