Booked mine in for first service, plus the software update and seat wiring harness recall, price started I think it was mid £600, with some gentle cajoling got price down to £470.
Pays to ask nicely
which OPC was that?

Ironically after booking my car in and challenging the cost only to find consistency in pricing...I've just received an email this evening from Porsche offering 20% of any work - servicing, MOT etc - BOOM!!

So now I'll save the VAT and get my Boxster oil change service done with the same deal.

Is Colchester still one of the cheapest for 1st service?
I'm now sceptical as all dealers generally have to tow the line as controlled by Porsche UK and so pricing (now) may be the same which is how it should be.

Quoted £927.25 inc VAT for 2 year "Service (minor, brake fluid change & water drain checks)" with Silverstone.

Not quite sure how they've come up with that price as that's £772.916666666666667 ex VAT :CWL:

Challenge it as I checked with two separate dealerships (owned by different parties) and they had precisely the same Porsche list price (I posted details earlier in this thread) which was around your ex VAT price.

Menu pricing and standard service schedule so we should be able to compare apples with apples.

They quoted me £652.30 +VAT for the same thing, except it didn't mention water drain checks. Must take tham another hour to do this!?

There are several places to check and all in accounts for around £100. Better that than a damp Taycan.

Water drain checks are on the schedule so they will include.

Surely this is a design fault and should be covered under a warranty or recall?

Thats exactly what I successfully argued (as it was much more than £100 allocated to that work in my quote).

Nope. All cars have drainage holes which require periodic checking. Porsche just make a thing of it as there's feck all else (brake fluid aside) to do on an EV.

I know of someone who ignored checks on his Merc SLC and ended up with a damp interior due to pine needles etc blocking drainage points.

Challenge it (robustly).

Including VAT this is 50% more than it should be as others have concurred on this forum.

When challenged and they argue, raise with Porsche UK as there is a standard UK pricing structure for these services.
