Had my first service for Taycan GTS (25k miles) at Porsche Guildford.
£702.30 including VAT .

Copy of invoice and all other docs attached.

They did attempt to try and say I needed Ducts and Drains checked, cleaned at £774.06 additional and that warranty wouldn't cover any water issues if I didn't. Mad considering it's not even 2 years old.
As well as flagging tyres as "Advisory" when 5mm left... lol.
I like this UK Youtuber who just posted his 2y/20k service with the breakdown of costs from the same dealer. Somehow, the dealer still charged him for the brake fluid flush even though the brake hoses were replaced, and he did not challenge it, something he would have learned from this forum. Also, there is no mention or listing in your invoice of the software of the brake system that is done after the hoses have been replaced.

The reason that I am sharing it is the following:
- The costs are little lower from the Youtuber vs. yours
- Anyone doing this service should be pushing back on the charge for brake fluid replacement
- Anyone doing this service should be aware of the PSM software update related to braking system

I’ve just had a quote for my first service at £380.20 from my OPC which I was assured excluded the brake fluid replacement as it’s also going in for its brake line recall. Is that about right?

To be honest, time scheduled servicing is a bit of joke on an EV and reading this discussion you could be forgiven for thinking Porsche will use any excuse to charge you for something.

That is one of the lowest quotes we have seen here.

Ask them how they handle drain checks. it seems that the expensive ones quote for disassembling the car "just in case". The cheaper ones just pour a bit of water down ... but if they are blocked then they will take the car apart for an additional surprise cost.

After reading this discussion I made a point of clarifying the charge for brake fluid as it was going in for its recall at the same so thanks to everyone who has brought this up.

The drainage thing is a funny one. Watching the video posted on page 14 or 15 of this thread, it seems like it mainly a case of checking half a dozen outlets around the battery for blockages. These outlets seem poorly designed and you’d think they would have sorted this out when they recalled cars for battery sealant issues. How they can charge for this with a straight face is beyond me but the last two quotes I’ve had for a tyre have been at least £120 more than taking the car to a local tyre fitter.

That’s Porsche for you though and lots of people pay without a second thought.

2 year service on my Taycan last week. £476.66 at Tewkesbury. Included £15 for loan car insurance and reduced cost of brake fluid change as they did the brake hose recall. Also itemised that they checked drain channels

Tewesbury just quoted me £951.01 Inc for the Minor service and drains check. Without brake fluid change …Newport same price?
Have you got a copy of quote so I can embarrass them …please

Yours is an ST, mine is a standard Taycan. Not sure if that makes any difference. Seems odd though. I have the receipt - maybe ask them what is being done and why it is twice the price of the standard Taycan service? If they agree that it is twice the price they should tell you why

That would be spot on as the fluid is part of the recall and is normally only required at 20K or 2 years. Given you're under recall there is no need to replace again and therefore no charge.

I was told they didn’t need to replace all of the fluid for the recall so since it all gets changed at 2 years they charged me a reduced amount

That doesn't feel right to me, given what they're doing on the recall (removing parts of the braking system).

With this issue, and the prior need (before the hose issue came to light) to bleed the system thoroughly, it would seem better to me for them to drain it and refill completely.

That said, I'm not sure £480 every 2yrs is horrendous to get the car checked over properly (in theory :) ). If they were trying to stiff me what some do for "drainage channel checks" then I'd likely get prickly over it.

Its not £400 but £750 or so and varies upwards depending on service interval.

2yr service?

Sub-£500 at my dealer.

Take a look at service prices quoted on here, even pre-the brake hose issue. They vary wildly.

Thankfully we're not in mainland Europe or the US where prices are even stiffer.

I've been through this with my 4S 18 months ago - standard menu pricing (which I challenged). Phoned dealers in England and got a slight variance to the "standard". Not had the pleasure yet for my GTS (next March) but I'm sure we'll do the dance for a service which actually won't require the brake fluid replacement given it has just been replaced and therefore the price should be less (I expect it won't be however but I like an argument!).
