The things I don't like about mine is that it is pointlessly big, particularly too wide. Inevitably heavy until (if) a different battery technology makes more than a marginal difference. Stupid interior storage layout - styling over ergonomics always irritates the hell out of me.

And it would be nice if Porsche just went ahead and did the R&D to build their own batteries instead of depending on third-party manufacturers that seem to be continuously going bankrupt.

Some type of operable sun/moon roof and suicide doors like the original Mission E rendering!

They bought a failing company (they were about to spin off the battery branch to get rid of it) that is a decade away from making batteries for EVs that match state of the art batteries of today; and that’s ignoring the volume a porsche ev would require.

And yes, I know they make the batteries that power the 911gts turbo charger; but powering a turbo charger and powering a whole plug-in EV, is 2 entirely different beasts

I wouldn’t expect much from this purchase.

They never seem to purchases companies that actually make any competitive product, just like how they purchased Cariad, a failing software company and delivered a shit software for VW post purchase too.

What’s your dreamlist for 2027/28?

A battery that I can count on. Currently having 8 modules replaced on a 2020 4s. Waiting for the "Flying Doctor" to figure out when he can "fly" in to do the job. Could be weeks or more I am told.

Basic:

• A high quality battery that gives a peace of mind it won't catch fire or need recalls
• More reasonable battery replacement cost in line with the rest of the industry (under $25k)
• No more 2 gears -- simplify and make it lighter and more robust
• Allow an option to have non-perforated leather seats; terrible look as it is and even without seat ventilation the leather is perforated.

Otherwise it is just a perfect car!
Ok, some nice to haves

• I like the front design of J1.1 much better than the J1.2 ... please improve again
• The 4S should accelerate at least as fast as a model 3 performance
• The older Panamera doors that have magnets so the door can open and it stays put at any position (like this)
• Less screens with a more time-less design; get rid of the climate control screen (and maybe give real buttons for this)
• Just one cup holder in the middle, and use the Panamera folding cup holders for the passenger (like this)
• I really like the look of thin carbon bucket seats and that gives more space to the rear passengers as well
• Redesign the panoramic roof so it lines up with the frame nicely
• Keep the clean interior design and nice feel of the metal drive selector; don't add useless plastic trinkets etc as so many brands do (looking at you BMW with the crystal shifter :-D )

Battery stability and overall recall stability.

I don't mind recalls per se - things happen, but when the fix can't be scheduled because parts don't exist that makes me crabby.
