Q1 - Not sure it's ever about warranty issues. Like I said, I've never heard of a dashcam causing any warranty concerns. That's not a thing I've ever experienced or read about in the US. FitcamX (only because it's what I have) has a fuse adapter that powers the camera from the battery, enabling "parking mode" where it will record in the event of a parking lot accident, when the car is technically off.Q1 - Regarding dashcams in general. If the HV battery charges the 12v battery (8 times max), why do people bother putting in aux. dashcam batteries for parking mode recording? If there is a decent HV SOC% why worry about it? Is it to isolate the dashcam setup due to warranty issues?
Q2 - Thinking of the following, please comment....
Front: FitCamX (as it is discreet)
Rear: BlackVue?? 2ch single unit with Front facing and Rear facing cameras (for parking mode recording)
Q2 - Why mix brands? FitcamX (again, only because it's what I know) has a front + rear camera option. Just use that so you don't have two phone apps, two memory cards, two hassles.
That's my opinion. YMMV.
