question then remains, is it a disadvantage to dosummer / winter rubber switch twice a year
Well I don’t know really. Considering we get harsh winters I needed those aero wheels to protect PCCBs from all the salt and dirt on the roads, so I’m not really disappointed by that purchase.

Need a bit of help. I'm interested getting a set of MAK Leipzig-D for the winter.
Did you had any issues with Porsche center for using aftermarket rims?
The size is a bit different than original 20 inch rims 9Jx20 ET 54 / 11Jx20 ET 60

Should be OK but more risk of damage to tyre and rim if changing twice a year.
Personally I bought a set of 20” rims and winter tyres to supplement my 21” summers. FWIW I have had separate wheels and tyres even when the winter and summer tyres were the same size.

It is a TÜV approved rim, tires are Porsche approved N0 marked.
I have had no issue with Porsche Centers yet, but better to turn to them directly. I take this "risk" rather than buy their ugly looking golden priced winter wheel sets.
The car was in service under warranty at winter time (charging door) on these tires, had no comment on that.

I have that combination on my car. And I have been to my Porsche centre for help with the TPMS in the winter wheels as well as several workshop and service issues. Never any comment about any impact on Warranty. Only issue was the TPMS sensors were not Porsches so they could not help, but a tyre specialist sorted that out!

I think the wheels look better than Porsche's winter sets. The dealership told me today that range will be better if I get their 20' Aero wheels but couldn't give a number.

Supposedly, Porsche would flag in their service records, if a car comes in for service on non-OE wheels. Flag can/will be removed if the car later comes in on OE-wheels again. Extended warranty (PAW) will demand that the car has no "flags" prior to entering into such an agreement.

This was explained to me by a fellow enthusiast with connections to a Porsche dealer here in Norway.

Could anyone confirm that this is how it works?

Sounds like a good Norge historia!???

No such comment from my service guys and I have extended the warranty twice already. At the last service the car still had the winter tyres on and there was no comment whatsoever. They may be more sensitive about non NF0 tyres, but I am guessing here?

:) that could well be the case, @Scandinavian... Would be good with some definitive feedback from Porsche, on this. I also agree that there are more exciting wheel designs out there, than the OE 20"s.

What are the 20 inch winter tyre options in UK? I only found goodyear on quick online search.

Thanks. Space being a premium, if i do the switch, then it will be tyres in a tyre hotel (not dealership). Will have a look for pirelli too.

* update. I can't even find goodyear winter NFO tyres online now. let alone Pirelli! Everything comes up with summers of Merc tyres! I'll get my coat.

They are from the original RS Spyder wheels. No need to buy.

Try Teile.com for Taycan wheels. At times they have some great offers on used OEM Porsche wheels. The Porsche wheels are costly.

I have put on MAK Leipzig D rims with Pirelli Winter PZero Elect. Happy and they work great.

Hey, does your Taycan have PCCB? I'm wondering how would these Leipzigs fit my 4S with ceramic brakes since the wheelshop cannot give me a definitive answer that those will fit the front calipers, nor have these wheels in stock to check the fit.
