My 2020 did get the last communication module update, OTA, a few months back. VRW 3 or something like that

This one not yet.

Preatty sure the car needs to be parked quite a long time in a place with stable signal, to download in the background the update. And my parking has no signal, so not ideal

If your last OTA update was 2021 you may be missing a prerequisite, which could mean a dealer visit is needed - but they’re best placed to advise, I’m just speculating 🤔
I had all the recalls and my dealer does these updates in the shop when they have a chance.
They are very well trained and their job is outstanding, always have been.
I was totally up-to-date (13th januari this year) until the waiting for the software began, that's why I asked for mentioning the MY of members who have had their OTA update.
That's all.
No speculation please, it's just guessing and serves no purpose, although I appreciate the help. 😉

If you believe the MY is significant, for what it’s worth given we’re in different territories, mine is MY21 and was done OTA a few weeks ago.

It would be nice if people would mention their MY.
Mine's a MY20 and no OTA update as of yet (got one in 2021 though).
Hi, as written in my profile on the left ,my car is a 2022 Gts .

Interesting that you get this OTA. MY 20.
I had a similar letter in France, but was asked to book the car in for the update.

Booked the Taycan in at a Porsche center in Stockholm, Sweden. They were very quick to take tha car in, only two days wait. Unfortunately it tok two bookings before the car would communicate with their PIWIS for some reason.

Update now done and all good.
’I do not see any difference anywhere in the SW. But the possibility to charge to 100% for a long trip is appreciated.

Well literally three weeks after being installed at a dealer I now know what the update does!
'Electrical system fault - inspection necessary' is the yellow message that flashes up when the software detects an issue. Not enough to justify an assist recovery, but keeps you mobile to get the car back to the dealer again which is what was intended I believe.
As an interesting aside, the software then also stops you charging the car above 80% which is a new feature.
Dealer originally wanted to swap the whole battery, but on review by Porsche AG this was reduced to just a single module replacement. No timescale for completion so let's watch this space (again).....
