I suggest you book the Eurotunnel and start packing for a nice trip! ??If service costs at dealers on the continent are less than 400 as has been suggested (would need to verify) - compared to UK service costs of well over 800 ad-hoc. ....and even a 1000+ in a contract. ............
It could be a nice cheap weekend away, to cross the channel and get the servicing done there - and use the saving on Chunnel crossing plus nice hotel for a couple of nights.
Would be all the sweeter knowing that the rip-off UK dealers had 'cut their own noses off' ..... And would also maintain a Porsche service record.
Just a thought.
