First and foremost I’m glad the crew are all safe. I’ll be sharing any info for get for sure.

It is indeed good that there were no lives lost.

As for the cars, it's extremely unlikely any cars will be recovered from the vessel. They're far out from a shore, and unless the ship has no structural / engine damage there's no way they'll be able to get it to a port.

My TYD history so far:

GREEN = Actual date according to TYD

Also, I never changed my order after I placed it (which was on 12/27) but as you can see it changed multiple times.

According to TYD, I was scheduled for an end of April delivery for California and it looks like I’m pushed to mid May as of today.

What is this TYD everyone speaks of? My Taycan is supposed to be on a ship any day now….but I can only see that I’m on stage 2 of 4 in the Porsche app. … I have a VIN number…I’m supposed to be on a ship today. Sounds like there’s been delays …but I don’t have any way that I know of to figure out when boarding a ship unless I contact the dealer (which I haven’t done).

Chalk Taycan RWD.
RCC Prestige leaving Emden port at any moment, headed to Davisville, R.I. and then hopefully to Houston for drop off and ground transport to Porsche Experience Center in L.A. by early April. I am waiting for word on whether I made this ship. It has been at the port for a week. Anyone else on this path?

Yes mine is on it and going to Rhode Island!

2/18/22 - Production Start
3/4/22 - Production complete
3/4/22 - In Transit to Emden
3/11/22 - Arrival at Emden
3/18/22 - On Vessel
4/1/22 - Entry Port (Jacksonville, FL)
4/22/22 - Arrival Greenville, SC
??? - Truck from Greenville to Los Angeles

Curious. Our build schedule is similar. However, TYD has shown Start Production since 2/10/2022 and hasn't changed. TYD does not show whether production has actually started or ended, which it should have on Production Completed on 2/18/22. Any insights? (BTW: Not impressed by the TYD feature.)

Mine still says est production start 18FE. Was wondering the same thing myself. I’ve done a lot of investigating on this, and the good news I’ve found is that their much more diligent on updating delays than completions….

Ditto - mine is still stuck in Milestone 3, showing Scheduled for Production Date 2/17/22 and Start Production Date 2/18/22 (today is 2/21/22).

Refreshing constantly to see if it updates to “Start Production.”

My start production is the same date and I too haven't had any updates. I don't expect near real time updates (though, my constant refreshing is hoping for more frequent updates). I can't figure out for the life of me what triggers an update. I've seen members here get their cars delivered and TYD still shows it at Emden.

my SA told me it’s manually updated. so it realizes on a person…
