It's already gone up, so it's an e-Tron GT for Marti.

Audi’s interest rate is outrageous at the moment even on new cars, it’s daylight robbery. I’ve just been told I’m 7th on the list for my GTS (ordered April this year) so it will be June next year - which means September at the earliest in reality - which means I’ll have to swallow another price hike next year. Super annoying.

Where did you order?

I was told 10th on the list at Porsche Leicester. Ordered beginning Feb.

Was told to expect 18 months delivery time with Ukraine factored in.

Porsche Chester. Yes I was told 12-18 months in April, so he said June to me just now but it’ll be September for sure. I’m hoping for some cancellations ?

I'm not sure anymore in these unprecedented times, but I think it would normally be once a vehicle is scheduled for production.
I hope it is. Mines scheduled for production next month but I have a suspicion that I will have to pay the price increase.

Expect cancellations.

I just picked up a BMW I4 40 - because of a cancellation. Brand new. Delivered end month. Not my preferred spec, but I don't care as it's just to tide me over until the Taycan arrives. Usual wait time for that car is 12 months, I sourced one in two days.

This same thing will happen with Taycan's, only it will take longer to weed through as the Porsche buyer typically has more money, but it will happen as recession deepens, job losses happen or people decide there's too much economic uncertainty to blow £100k+ on a car.

I'm optimistic for a Q1 2023 build slot because of cancellations as I get shuffled down the list.

My guess is it’s MY related. Not sure if your lock is for a MY22 model or a MY23 model? Mine which completed build on Monday 11th July is a MY22 and when I open the Porsche code in the configurator it shows the MY22 pricing (around 4 grand less than the exact same configuration using todays MY23 updates).

So I think the price you’ll pay is the price it shows when you open your Porsche code in the configurator.
Just opened mine in configurator ?

Hello. I am also watching the price rises. I really liked the Taycan and am willing to wait ! at least for now. However not sure how many price rises are coming. Am starting to look at other EV. Have just come across mercedes EQE saloon. Base model AMG line priced close to 74,000. Range around 380 miles. Not sure. What does everyone think.

That’s really lucky, but like you say to be expected - and things aren’t going to get any better for the rest of this year at least. They’re lovely cars too.

I can’t really complain as I have a Taycan 4S at the moment, I bought it 2nd hand so it’s missing a couple of options I’d usually spec, so I’ll just keep that for another year.

Fingers crossed we both move up the list quickly!

Depending on how you are financing/purchasing.....think the Mercedes residuals will be poor against a Taycan at the moment

I have expected delivery in October, already paid deposit. Will that price increase affect me, or do I get the Taycan for old price, when I was ordering?
I ordered in Dec 2021`, So far they have not increased the price. Besides Monterey Porsche are pretty good. Compared with other Dealers in the Bay area. They did not mark up over MSRP.
Spoke to Jun Felino great guy.

Same for me. I was aware this 'could' happen but it doesn't make it any easier to swallow. Porsche communication is awful and I find it rather insulting that I had to find out about a 1.5k price hike through a forum pointing me to configurator rather than through a simple email from Porsche to their signed up customers beforehand? That's a bit crap to be honest.

I set myself a red line in terms of how much I was willing to spend and the rise has taken me over it. The result is my car has now had a few options removed to bring it back in line and will now cost me less than before the rise :like: . I still want a CT 4S but not at any price.
