Same for me. I was aware this 'could' happen but it doesn't make it any easier to swallow. Porsche communication is awful and I find it rather insulting that I had to find out about a 1.5k price hike through a forum pointing me to configurator rather than through a simple email from Porsche to their signed up customers beforehand? That's a bit crap to be honest.

I set myself a red line in terms of how much I was willing to spend and the rise has taken me over it. The result is my car has now had a few options removed to bring it back in line and wil now cost me less than before the rise. I still want a CT 4S but not at any price.
Just had email from PRG saying my price will stay the same. Increase only applies to new orders and orders without a build allocation!

Now that is a bit of good news. I'll confirm the same with my SA and get back on to the configurator!

Can you still alter your build up to freeze date without price rise ? Because new code will include increased price

Deposit paid at initial order stage (November '21) on the MY22 base spec/prices. A few weeks ago when the build allocation was confirmed, I updated the spec on the configurator and dealer issued a contract with the confirmed build spec and price. Moving from the initial MY22 based order to MY23 the base price had increased unsurprisingly.

Build lock is officially next month. The build slot is scheduled for late October and delivery in November…currently.

I’ve not heard bo peep from Porsche East London about any further price rises affecting my order at this point. Nor would I really expect it unless I opened up the order again before it fully locks.

We live in extraordinary times though, maybe I should re-read the fine print….

I assume so. My code shows the price increase hence I emailed dealer last night and got response this morning

Thanks for sharing. Are the exact words "orders without a build allocation" used? (as it stands it's open to misinterpretation).

I’ve obv payed a £5K deposit at initial order stage (November 22) on the MY22 base spec/prices. Yes small print says they can increase price. My time line is the same as yours. Lock is 30th September build complete 4th November and delivery to Reading 25th November.
When I changed the spec recently the delivery date determined and fixed in production dates moved out a week but all other dates stayed the same

Interesting....... -

I have 'Scheduled for production' phase 3 status on my frozen-agreed build...

I loaded my 'frozen' final configuration to check price increases and got a pop up saying base price had changed - went ahead and loaded to see what the damage is. Then I decided to save the configuration with the now updated prices under a different name, so I could do some calcs etc.

Went to look to make sure the new config has been added to My Porsche and it had - but replacing the frozen version - there was no additional config - and only the name had changed to the new name - the Porsche code remained the same - and the price had reverted to the pre-increase price.

Tried again - same result - reverted back to pre-increase price and same Porsche code. - Prior to it being frozen when I have modified an existing config - it always saved under a new code and name etc as a new additional config - at one stage, I had half a dozen configs in My Porsche.

So made a new config from scratch and saved that - this one was added as a new config in My Porsche with updated priced and a new code - The old frozen config remains the same and is still there - old price.

So......

Either my frozen config is now read-only in terms of spec and price (not name) - which could indicate the pre increase price is fixed at 'phase 3 scheduled for production stage' :D

or it's a bug :(

Update Edit.........

:( - I had another old config - not the one submitted for build - one without any status - just hadn't deleted it...... Tried to update that to new prices and save under a different name - it behaved just like the frozen-submitted one - ie no additional config - name had changed - but code didn't and reverted to old price.... So I cant read anything into that after all...

Similar story here in Ireland. Had it confirmed this morning that if you have a commission number (and hence allocation) your original price is protected.
That's good, I was concerned my SA may have made a mistake but great price is the same ?

Still slightly confusing ....how does this affect customers who placed there deposits back in 2021....but still have no build allocation, and there are many
They have had 2 price increases and 2 apr increases in a short period.
