They do cover it but they don’t guarantee OEM glass. In this case, only OEM is available. If I had bought it from the dealer there was no money out of pocket. I am out $1000 deductible, and another $200 ish to re-tint it. I have lowered the deductible to $200 now so next it doesn’t hurt as much.Since you are in the US, wouldn't your normal automotive insurance cover this? It has on my other cars in the past. Or is it that they don't cover the callibration or some other aspect of the repair?
