sounds like an over reaction to something that hasn't even happened yet.

its some color changes and a few things moved around, read the manual, or the release notes. its not that hard.

We’ll agree to disagree. I had to bring in my charging kit cables yesterday for a reason, there’s been sporadic reporting of PCM and EA issues after the ANA6, so I just want to make sure the car is right. I’ve owned the car since April 10th, 2022 and it’s been at the dealership for at least thirty days for different issues unrelated to this recall since delivery, over 25% of the time, I think that’s exorbitant. I just want it right, I don’t think that’s too much to ask, just my opinion. Oh, worth noting, I just got the call, they need my car into next week, so there’s that.

Can you change user profiles to Guest and back? What color is the light on the top panel, green or red? I can't remember what light that is, but its up by your cabin interior lights buttons

the suggestions- my entire PCM went into the spinning dial of death.. so I brought it j to the dealership - it’s been resolved (I hope) … I pick it up Sunday - probably a corrupt file during the update…

Car been at dealer two days for the uPdate now. I asked if everything had gone well so far this morning and got the following response:

Not really, this morning the car doesn't know he his a Taycan...
I've a mecanic on the car...

No loaner provided and I now need to travel tomorrow.

GOOD NEWS!

I got a call late on Wednesday from the Service Advisor that my car had recovered and was ready! It is a Turbo MY 2020. I was going to leave early on Thursday morning with another car, but he offered to stay on, if I wanted to collect my Taycan and use it instead! I had a bit of apprehension about using the Taycan given the SW issues, but agreed to pick up the car! He stayed on and showed me all the new features and sorted out any missing or changed settings! Fantastic service from the SA and Porsche.

In the end we decided to make the long trip from Nice to Stockholm, Sweden with the Taycan. I was quite nervous before the first charging stop, but no regrets since .

There are many reports on the new features and I have positive confirmations for all of the features. The colour icons are like Marmite, you either like them or not. I found it was easier to find the correct settings when driving, but thats me.

Some very positive experiences:

• My car has reported a decrease in consumption on long drives ( about 900 km) on same road stretch and very similar weather and speeds compared to May/June. The improvement seems to be around 10 to 15%!!!! That is in kWh/100 km.
• The car seemed to drive at a higher battery temperature of around 40 degrees compared to about 30 degrees C before.
• Charging at Ionity is now much faster and for me from 10% to 80%. Charge rates at even 60% is high see picture below!
• Charging Planner now shows me available number of stalls which I have not seen before ( issue in my car earlier)
• CarPlay works! Podcast, Apple Music as well as internet Radio works and connection to My Porsche works nearly 100% now. And My Porsche shows all the different consumptions in graphic form. Remote control of charging and climatisation works!

All in all I am very pleased with the new uPdate and the car now works with the PCM and app as I had expected from the start.

The car has performed absolutely flawless on a 2700 km trip in weather from very hot, 38 degrees C , through Thunder storms with torrential rain. So pleased

For my part this uPdate has been a GREAT SUCCESS story!

My car, 2022 4S, no longer works at EA stations via Plug & Charge. In fact, the option is no longer displayed in the PCM at all. This did work from the day I picked the car up. TBH I don't even know how to initiate a session via the app because I only ever used Plug & Charge from the day I picked up the car. I picked it up in NC and drove home to NJ and charged with it several times along the way.

Last weekend wife took a small road trip to visit family and on the way home Plug and Charge didn't work, swiped a card and went on her way. I looked at resolving the issued yesterday at a different charger and the same problem occurred.

The option I used to have, as shown is this video no longer exists. Only the first and third options are now displayed in the PCM.,

Emailing porsche customer service has been futile to this point, and the dealership is saying they have to order 3 parts to rectify the issue and that its related to a new recall. I don't think either of them have a clue what they are talking about. I'm going to try a factory reset over the weekend when I have more time. Frustrating.

Anyone else have this issue or have a suggested fix?

In case anyone else runs into this issue. A Factory Reset resolved the problem. Took 30 min to run the set up assistant and reenter my personal settings, but the plug & charge option is now correctly displayed in the charging options sub-menu again.

Thanks for the heads up @BeauJTaylor . So it looks like the dealer needs to "re-run the level 2 or 3 update"? If that's what fixed it for you I'll contact the dealer directly with this advice and hopefully fast track the support ticket process.

That could be the wrong term, just what my dealer told me. Everything else with the new update was working, it was just some final process they had to re do, took a couple hours max.

For my part this uPdate has been a GREAT SUCCESS story!

Picked up my CT4s last friday at PC Helsingborg after minor repair/paint after being hit while car parked and also got the uPdate. Excellent job done on the body as well checking the PCM features with the support of Head of aftermarket.
Left directly for a weekend trip to Falkenberg/Halmstad/ Falkenberg/ Gothenburg/ Falkenberg and back home to Österlen. Roughly 1000 km all in all. Used destination charges, public charging in a parking garage in Gothenburg as well as Plug & charge at Ionity/Varberg. All went just flawless without any issues.

Only complain is the lacking indicator supposedly showing the set speed while using the adaptive speed control. The indicator as well the function of the ALK is there. Same thing happened a few weeks ago after having the last OTA update. However, at that occasion it returned after a few new minor local trips. Today, still not back after my weekend trip. Annoying as I normally set my speed to 10 or 20 km/hr above the limit and pull it down by the 10 km/hr steps when reaching the cameras. Any ideas on how to get the speed indicator back?

Does anyone know if the new software update lets those with air suspension put the car in low setting once in park? I have the smart lift set for my driveway to go up the incline. However, once on the driveway it is flat. I would like the car to go to its low setting while parked there. However, the system keeps fighting the Smart Lift GPS. I think it would save on keeping the air suspension in a higher setting (and the car looks better when parked in low ).

I’m wondering if anyone noticed that radio traffic messages (that interrupts music) became very laud?
Before uPdate, volume of the message was the same as music while it looks that’s fixed to 14 now.

Black screens after uPdate?
Anyone?
Happened to me twice... all three screens became blank while driver's screen still works normal.
After few seconds, all screens started to work again, I just need to press "play" on AppleMusic again.

Never happened to me before uPdate.

Never saw that feature mentioned in the overview of bugfixes...
I guess that'll be a new visit to the dealer...
