We’ll agree to disagree. I had to bring in my charging kit cables yesterday for a reason, there’s been sporadic reporting of PCM and EA issues after the ANA6, so I just want to make sure the car is right. I’ve owned the car since April 10th, 2022 and it’s been at the dealership for at least thirty days for different issues unrelated to this recall since delivery, over 25% of the time, I think that’s exorbitant. I just want it right, I don’t think that’s too much to ask, just my opinion. Oh, worth noting, I just got the call, they need my car into next week, so there’s that.sounds like an over reaction to something that hasn't even happened yet.
its some color changes and a few things moved around, read the manual, or the release notes. its not that hard.

My car, 2022 4S, no longer works at EA stations via Plug & Charge. In fact, the option is no longer displayed in the PCM at all. This did work from the day I picked the car up. TBH I don't even know how to initiate a session via the app because I only ever used Plug & Charge from the day I picked up the car. I picked it up in NC and drove home to NJ and charged with it several times along the way.
Last weekend wife took a small road trip to visit family and on the way home Plug and Charge didn't work, swiped a card and went on her way. I looked at resolving the issued yesterday at a different charger and the same problem occurred.
The option I used to have, as shown is this video no longer exists. Only the first and third options are now displayed in the PCM.,
Emailing porsche customer service has been futile to this point, and the dealership is saying they have to order 3 parts to rectify the issue and that its related to a new recall. I don't think either of them have a clue what they are talking about. I'm going to try a factory reset over the weekend when I have more time. Frustrating.
Anyone else have this issue or have a suggested fix?

Picked up my CT4s last friday at PC Helsingborg after minor repair/paint after being hit while car parked and also got the uPdate. Excellent job done on the body as well checking the PCM features with the support of Head of aftermarket.GOOD NEWS!
I got a call late on Wednesday from the Service Advisor that my car had recovered and was ready! It is a Turbo MY 2020. I was going to leave early on Thursday morning with another car, but he offered to stay on, if I wanted to collect my Taycan and use it instead! I had a bit of apprehension about using the Taycan given the SW issues, but agreed to pick up the car! He stayed on and showed me all the new features and sorted out any missing or changed settings! Fantastic service from the SA and Porsche.
In the end we decided to make the long trip from Nice to Stockholm, Sweden with the Taycan. I was quite nervous before the first charging stop, but no regrets since.
There are many reports on the new features and I have positive confirmations for all of the features. The colour icons are like Marmite, you either like them or not. I found it was easier to find the correct settings when driving, but thats me.
Some very positive experiences:
All in all I am very pleased with the new uPdate and the car now works with the PCM and app as I had expected from the start.
- My car has reported a decrease in consumption on long drives ( about 900 km) on same road stretch and very similar weather and speeds compared to May/June. The improvement seems to be around 10 to 15%!!!! That is in kWh/100 km.
- The car seemed to drive at a higher battery temperature of around 40 degrees compared to about 30 degrees C before.
- Charging at Ionity is now much faster and for me from 10% to 80%. Charge rates at even 60% is high see picture below!
- Charging Planner now shows me available number of stalls which I have not seen before ( issue in my car earlier)
- CarPlay works! Podcast, Apple Music as well as internet Radio works and connection to My Porsche works nearly 100% now. And My Porsche shows all the different consumptions in graphic form. Remote control of charging and climatisation works!
The car has performed absolutely flawless on a 2700 km trip in weather from very hot, 38 degrees C , through Thunder storms with torrential rain. So pleased
For my part this uPdate has been a GREAT SUCCESS story!![]()

Happened to me twice... all three screens became blank while driver's screen still works normal.
After few seconds, all screens started to work again, I just need to press "play" on AppleMusic again.
Never happened to me before uPdate.
