Mine was picked up 2 days ago by Porsche Assist (AA).
Loaner arranged by Enterprise (mid/Premium class). They guessed it was 'another' Taycan heater failure.

Dealer phoned today to confirm HVAC has failed.
Part on back order, but hopefully in next week and car back with me later on next week ?.

Which would be a week and a bit since landing at the dealers.

There is a problem with Hi Voltage Heaters, Upgraded part has a fan apparently. Mine is off the road again as the Heater failed just before Christmas 24 hours after Porsche returned it... Very frustrating but dealer and Porsche are kindly looking at a resolution. The least they can do!!

That is indeed what can give the confirmation. The pre cool pre heat button is no longer displayed in the charging screen en when trying to activate pre heating in the PCM screen it gives an error message saying pre heating is not available due to a technical problem. I forgot to take a picture of this screen.

Part issue. Being upgraded to include a fan - dealer has 28 with issues sadly mine failed with 24hours of being without it for other issues. Dealer being good! So far…

This sucks. Dropped mine off for the issue today. It was a cold ride to the dealer! Unreal - $190k turbo and the heat doesn't work. My wife is making fun of my "fancy car." ?

lol, same here with my wife. I had a chat with general manager of Porsche in my area, he was very understanding, explained the situation and provided me a Taycan loaner, so I'm happy now

do you have # by country? We could compare that with country sales nbrs (even by Y) tomcone up with a % (i.e. US Y21, 300 units sold, 30% reported, so at least 30%)
or we could look at reported via forum / #forum users (by country) I’m really trying to get a feeling of realworld impact.

Maybe we should start a new thread where everyone can reply when they had the failure and when it was resolved? I think we are reporting in 4 or 5 different ones, I started this one in December after mine failed.

Add me to the list. 2021 CT4S. Heater failed Jan 5, 2023, with system error message. Appointment scheduled for this Monday to resolve.

Damn. My heater has been broken since yesterday; no heat in the car. I have a model with heat pump if that makes any difference.

However it seems those with heater issues had an error message in the car, I don't have any such errors just a freezing car. Anybody else had a model with heat pump failure?

Also; does that mean that battery pre-warming for super fast charging is out of the question? I have some travels to France scheduled in the coming days, and with all the upcoming strikes and petrol blockade etc. I definitely need an electric car to go there.
