Ugh. Watching the Lake Taupo cross the Atlantic is excruciatingly painful! Come on captain, put the pedal to the metal and move!!! ?

It doesn’t help that they had to track southwest through the Azores to go around the back side of a storm in the North Atlantic before they turned West towards Jacksonville. Averaging about 12.6 kn in 10-12 foot seas and 20 kn winds. Doesn’t sound like a lot of fun and I hope everything’s lashed down and checked daily. Pushed back to a 5/11 arrival even though TYD still shows 5/16. Original eta was 5/09 when they left Emden on their manifest. TYD always showed 5/16 so they just use an old algorithm that usually had the ship going to Danville, RI first.

I’ve logged on to MyPorsche online and my order has disappeared! No idea what is going on.

The car is still shown as Stage 3 on the iPhone app (although as previously highlighted, this appears to refer to an old specification, not the final one that my SA assures me went into production)!

If I log-in from a laptop, rather than iPad, the the car is still visible (albeit still shown as Stage 3).
To see the VIN I need to select the ‘find out current phase’ button.

Same stage as mine. If you 'inspect' the page, go to the orders bit there's still no production images but order state does say Produced which wasn't the case a week or two ago.

I’ve just received an email from Porsche to ‘Activate my Taycan GTS Sport Turismo (MY23)’

I’ve clicked the link and now have some additional options on the app, but this is still showing as ‘restricted view’. Not sure if there is any advantage in my ‘activating my services now’, when I might not pick up the car for a few weeks?

At least it does appear that things are progressing. I have just been told that my car has left Emdem.

Ok, my dealer has asked me to activate everything…!

No, I could see the VIN for my car well before the car was produced.

I too could see the VIN well before the car was produced in My Porsche on the view my order page. I also asked my SA for a build sheet and it was listed there as well.

"Activate as late as possible to maximize the free period"

Actually, I was planning NOT to activate charging services now because of Portuguese particular situation. Porsche Charging service doesn't work here (they have an agreement with one of the charge providers for equivalent rates for ionity and similar so it's a separate card) so I will only need porsche charging when I go to Spain or beyond.

My plan is to only activate the charging service when I plan to charge in Spain. Could be only in a few months or even winter. Would gain extra 6 months charging services.

Unless of course it's all a flop and they start counting at delivery date regardless if you activate or not.

Only options I have is activating the 3 services which have a period associated to them: porsche connect, porsche care and porsche charging services

It will always show restricted until one introduces their porsche id physically into the car

I was thinking the same thing!!! How slow could this boat possibly be going? Do they have a bunch of Ancient Greek warriors paddling with oars? ?

Hello everyone. I took delivery today of my new 2023 chalk 4s! I am stoked. It is absolutely amazing to drive and looks so good. Also it is several times more good looking in person than in photos in my opinion, it really is a head turner.

Was nervous as this is my first really really nice (and for me very expensive) car. But its definitely feeling worth it after spending the whole day with it. Good luck to the rest of you!
