July 2023 Deliveries

Joining this thread because this is likely where I'll end up. Was pretty quick going from Factory > Emden > Halifax but has now sat at Halifax for more than a month.

My Taycan is right there with yours. Same arrival date, but mine is showing an en route to Porsche Centre date of June 13-26.

Manufacturing finisshed on 4/6, so it is beyond the 50 day waiting period that folks are talking about.

SA originally told me to expect delivery as early as first week of *June* for PECLA pickup.

TYD just updated manufacturing complete’ from 13June to 15July. Six weeks in production?!?

Based on what others write here, I can be looking at October or (gasp!)

Hopefully, late August. A similar thing happened to us. Entered production April 27, rescheduled to complete June 30. So just over nine weeks in production. If you get anything from your SA or PCNA about what happened let us know, from a communications standpoint they've been an utter black hole.

Personally, I've decided they started our car over and our original CT was sent off to Ukraine to be used as a staff car because it's the only thing that can keep up with the fleeing Russians.

My production date was set for June 19. I got an email on June 18 saying production had started. So I guess a day ahead of schedule. The production date has held steady since early May when it locked. Let's see if the rest of the (very tight) schedule holds, including delivery to dealer on July 28 in Houston, TX, USA.

No production images yet, although interestingly, I did notice that the VIN was assigned (and viewable in the JSON attached to the web page) immediately. I could even look up the VIN on external sites, and it knew what it was.

The same here, my CT is in Emden for 7 weeks now, since May 2nd. If we miss this RO/RO, is already a week later. If feels soon now ?

I have some production photos now! And just in case anyone is interested (I certainly was), here are the dates for my predictions

June 18 — actually started building
June 19 — original build date
June 21 — 3 production photos appeared
June 24 — original completion date
June 28 — current forecast completion date
July 31 — current forecast for landing in Houston. (Might slip into 'August 2023 deliveries' pretty soon)

Update June 22: just got notification that production is complete! That was fast.

Ha, at first I thought, “how could it be, the underbody with the Battery pack is not mounted at this stage”, I noticed the white Taycan in the dash screen! Truly interesting indeed, somebody must have been listening radio while working! ?

Car has been in Benicia since June 13th, and I originally expected delivery by tomorrow (June 24th), but apparently it needs a software update, and that takes several more weeks. Car built in March, and has had a long saga waiting in different places along the way for some completely opaque reason.

My Cross Turismo arrived in Jacksonville, FL on 6/22!!! Should be at the dealer by June 28th (fingers crossed) and hopefully I will be able to pick it up on or before the July 4th weekend.

Yes, indeed, July 12th. I don't expect that date is any more reliable than any other date given in TYD. May be sooner or later.
