Thanks!
That info should be very helpful to several on here. But it’s an incomplete list. Neptune Koger is currently en route Emden to Baltimore (arriving 7/29) but is not listed.
Thanks for this update! Looks like my GTS is on SFL Composer. Finally…
Totally nuts. Exasperating.TYD updated today that the car is supposed to leave Emden on 8/31/23 even though PCNA sent me an email saying the car should be at the dealer by 8/4/23. WTH
Mine has been at Emden since 5/4.Supposedly the car reached Emden today. I guess I'll have to start tracking ships. Maybe an August delivery is still possible if it gets on a ship quickly.
Wow… we are practically on the same timeline just setting in different locations in Geremy…. I just emailed PCNA asking if they could explain why TYD updated today showing car is not scheduled to leave Emden until 8/31/23 even though they sent me an email earlier this week stating that the car should be at the dealer by 8/4/23. That is a huge gap. They also sent me the invitation email to activate the vehicle on my Porsche ID. I‘m glad I didn’t do it.Ours had been sitting at the factory since 4/27. Hopefully we can both get a ship soon.
The dates on Track Your Dream are speculative fiction. I've been tracking the dates as they've changed over time and I have 20 sets of dates from February 15th through today and they seem to be a static set of intervals that stay the same no matter what labor issues, parts shortages, or quality actions are happening.Wow… we are practically on the same timeline just setting in different locations in Geremy…. I’m still learning this process. This is my first Porsche build. I guess my biggest heartburn today is I received an email from PCNA this week saying the vehicle should be at the dealer on 8/4/23.The dates on Track Your Dream are speculative fiction. Step 2 change freeze appears to be 12 to 15 weeks after the dealer receives the allocation.
From Change Freeze to step 3 Scheduled for Production is 14 days.
4 Started Production is 21 days later.
5 Production Completed is 6 days after that.
6 Ready for Transport is 1 day later
7 Arrive at Emden is 6 days later.
8 Left Emden is 1 day later.
9 Trip to destination port is 23 days.
10 Wait at destination port is 5 days.
11 Arrive at dealer is 2 more days.
When a new event happens, and TYD is updated, the future dates are all based on whatever date the current step changed.
If your car misses a date target, TYD pushes the dates out by 7 days. If it misses that, it kicks the dates out by 14 days, then it kicks the dates out 28 days. (at least that was my experience)
It's a nice little affectation that makes you feel like you're following along with the car's production but apart from the dates being set based on the last milestone achieved it has no predictive value at all. I do suspect it reduces the number of "is it here yet?" calls to the SAs though.
As frustrating as the 3 month (so far) delay I've experienced has been, I'm fully aware that compared to the delays experienced by forum members because of the 12 volt battery and heater issues I've only experienced a minor hiccup.I’m still learning this process. I did ask my SA if Porsche or the Dealership is offering any type of compensation for these extreme delays.
