Which car gets more attention between Taycan and 911?

For those folks that have owned/driven both cars, from your experience, which car would you say garnered more attention? (thumbs up, compliments, head turns, etc) And let’s exclude the GT3 because I feel like it should be in it’s own category.

I get almost no attention from either.

With the exception of the more “special” models, 911s are pretty ubiquitous on the UK roads.

My Taycan turns a lot of heads(maybe a bit too much?) but it might because it's Mamba Green. People are conservative around and bright colored cars are sparse. No one bats a eye on a 911 unless it's a winged GT3.

With a 64% sales tax rate on any 911 in Ireland – they are much rarer than a Taycan which only has a 30% tax.

On average about twenty new 911's are sold in Ireland compared to close to 300 new Taycan's a year.

Additionally a 911 attracts a yearly motor/public road tax of €2,350 a year compared to only €120 for EV's (Taycan).

I have an Aventurine Green 992 C4S and a Carrara White Taycan Turbo and the Taycan garners significantly more attention on the road.

It depends a lot on the config. With my Taycan ST, I get a lot of thumbs up, smiles, kids pointing to the car and showing their parents, people taking photos when I am at the red lights. With a Taycan loaner (grey color and average rims) nobody noticed the car.

I have a viper green GT3, the Taycan CT gets more looks and comments.

I agree I love the mamba green Taycan and it does get a lot of comments all positive so far and from all ages and sexes but then it is a great looking car. I’ve had 911’s and only had a few comments nothing like the Taycan

Taycan definitely.

I think the model's stance and colour help contribute, but who knows.

911 was barely given a second look (not necessarily a bad thing!).

I sold my 911 when I realized that most guys driving them were old enough to be my grandfather (no disrespect to current owners on this platform). Taycan is overflowing with new technology and a fresh look. In my community there are tons of Porsches so an enhanced 911 model doesn't garner any attention.

On the other hand, getting attention should not be the goal.

Maybe because mine is Gentian and blends in very well. But I get no attention at all. Or maybe I’m just too ugly. Got a loaner 911 once at got multiple compliments
