I just got a Chargepoint Home Flex hardwired at my house and I'm barely getting charge. I got 10% charge over 2 hours this morning using Direct Charging.

Any idea what the issue is and how I can fix? Thank you for any help!

How many amps is the breaker that the EVSE is wired to? Did you have a different EVSE before that was charging your car faster?

60A breaker. Chargepoint app settings has it as 60A breaker.

This is my first EVSE but even my electrician said this seems really slow.

Have you activated the station via the app? If not, it will default to 16A, which seems to be close to the power delivered over the 2 hours that you quoted.

Yep, it is really slow. You should be charging at least twice that speed. I charge at about 10% per hour on a 50A circuit.

Thanks for the suggestions... I checked the app and it did show uber slow charging rate so I checked the Chargepoint app and saw that the charge limiter was stuck at a default 16A...

I have to call CP support and request them to reset my account and then set the charge limiter to 48A.

The Chargepoint HomeFlex used to have the ability to change the amp settings within the app, but they deleted that function after an update a while back. Chargepoint Tech support told me to call them to change the settings or delete the EVSE from the app and start over again as if it was a new unit and choose the desired setting..
