Actually very surprised the console was not changed to incorporate some physical controls. I though for sure it would mirror the Macan

Too much expectation from a refresh.

Recent owner of a 2023 Turbo doing quick compare to the 2025 Turbo refresh.

Price as built equivalent comparison:
2023: $199,790 my build
2024: $207,060 +$7,270 price increase for identical build
2025: $211,215 +$4,155 is net difference vs. 2024 after discounting for $720 Soft Close, $3,550 PAR-PDCC, and $1,700 for HD-Matrix.
2025: $217,185 +$17,395 (+8.7%) vs. 2023 actual as built difference since cannot remove the discounted items to arrive at a no less build

Improvements that I think all of us welcome:
HV battery larger and lighter with more Range greater overall Efficiency
Faster DC Charging with more hold of the higher rate curve
New Charging info screen on the Left Tube
Faster Route Planning 3x
PCM hardware is unchanged due to long compliance so hope current gen can benefit via OTA
Wireless Charging improvement from 5W to 15W with active cooling
Improved Performance given more powerful Rear Motor
Improved Air Suspension as Standard with 2 valve damper and 2 air chamber vs. 1/3 setup
PAR replaces PDCC with 2 valve damper and 1 air chamber and 2x the price
PDCC is gone forever (do not like that) since there is no more 48V bus due to simplification
Push to Pass feature with more power available on the go, with Launch Mode even more for all out power
Revised Driver Assist Stock but I cannot tell the difference from current in the pictures
Driver Assist info available in the Center tube

I am not liking the following changes:
Too much standard equipment, limiting choice: HD Matrix Lights on the Turbo, no PDCC, etc.
Confusing Premium Package with HUD, Surround View, Soft Close Doors where current packaging much clearer: Performance Pack, Tech Pack, etc.
Exterior changes to the Lights, Front Bumper, Rear Vents on Turbo, and Mission-E wheel design
Lit up Porsche logo on the rear in Red is just plain awful but glad it is an OPTION
Logo in Glacier is same not illuminated and will never be possibly due to regs allowing red only
Interior 2-tone Leather Packages with less lighter tone coverage (Black/Chalk is too Black)
Limitations to Interior accent packaging, such as cannot select Dark Silver with Exterior Color accents
Confusing what is Turbonite and what not if you deviate from the Black in Turbonite interior package
1 Year of free DC charging vs. 3 Years

Overall: The changes are impressive but not material to me for my use on the improvement list to want a refreshed version if cost is no object. However, the not liking list has some things that need to be seen as I prefer original version exterior (without extra vents) and interior look (more lighter tone coverage). I am excited to learn and see all the new things this refresh brings to keep Taycan moving forward. Who is first to place the order and why?

Maybe I am missing something but was playing around with the German configurator to have a better feel of pricing and a Taycan Turbo was 230k, Taycan 4S was 200k and Macan Turbo at 145k (fairly full optioned). I tried putting the same options on them as much as I could.

I just don't see the new pricing value in Taycan anymore, especially when compared to Macan and was convinced that they would lower prices to better match the Macan but I guess I was wrong. I have a feeling Porsche will not sell many of them at these prices as why would a Taycan 4S be worth 60k more than a Macan Turbo.

What's the truth on the range increase - are they claiming some of that based on 19" with rock hard new tyres?

Looks good progress though but wouldn't remotely consider paying list for one the way the market is currently. Hopefully it will be more normal within 12 months and with continued debunking of the EV myths and nonsense that so many believe - its our DUTY!!!

My direct comparison on UK website shows Taycan ll CT4 weighs 50 kilos less than a Macan 4.
That's 110 lbs

Looks REALLY good, except I really hate that you HAVE to get the "Pepita" seats if you want a leather-free interior. Not my style at ALL.

Also the fake vents are just tacky. If they're not gonna be functional as vents, figure out another way to style them, damnit.

Can't see myself upgrading in any case, at least not with current trade-in prices. Our '22 4S CT remains amazing regardless!

I've just configured a Taycan Turbo CT identical to my MY23, HOWEVER I got an MY23 at MY22 prices. The difference is a whisker over ÂŁ17k. NB: I have added a couple of stylistic things that make it more similar to my current config (like coloured front apron etc), because those were additional reasons I chose a Turbo on mine

Yep, they must have seen the hood emblem on my Taycan and decided they they liked how it looked so much, they even added fake tears under the headlights to attempt to match my Taycan look, but only for Taycans with monochrome badge of course. :CWL:

No mention of a new heater though, funny that they would miss the many, many comments about the heaters.

How many of the 150,000 customers will rush to the MY25 Taycan rather than the Macan EV - price differential is a little scary / unexplained IMHO.

I think they've just shrunk their own market with the not insignificant price hike made worse by the Macan EV Turbo which feels like better value (if that's a consideration).

Both EVs are over priced in a period where EVs are in the doldrums and with an uncertain future - Polestar, Renault, others - investors are apparently reeling in their interest (for now).

I may sit this one out and wait for the new Taycan rather than the refresh when stability should have returned - 2027(ish).

That said, I like the green one!

A masterclass in upsetting your current customer base, my taycan is the worst financial decision I have ever made and now with this it’s worth even less. A refresh should be just that this makes the current car obsolete, now I appreciate new models etc but here with ev’s we have a new dynamic at play, no one in their right mind would ever take the previous generation which makes the massive depreciation unacceptable imo.
Porsche could go someway to alleviate my frustration by at least giving us some of the software updates.
Given that this is an immature technology I fully expect the improvements to continue at a steep rate for the next couple of decades, although those with an engineering background would be better positioned to opine on that than me. As such I did consider leasing a new car, having previously always bought used to mitigate the depreciation. That wasn't an option in 2020 with the Tesla (I wanted a car to get me from Essex to Genoa and other parts of Europe and back) so I went into it with my eyes open and with the view that I'm helping the transition by taking the depreciation hit for someone down the road.
I've really enjoyed my car and if I end up buying a 3 year old Taycan I'm sure I'll enjoy that. It sounds a bit corny but for me these things are as much about making memories ... my 24 and 22 year old daughters still insist on stopping at the "chicken service station" in Bourg en Bresse because that's what they remember from their family holidays .... I encourage you all to enjoy your cars and not worry about the latest shiny thing :)
