It just covers the monitored alarm service from Vodafone Automotive. There's no free trial or period with Porsche Vehicle Tracking Service Plus (PVTS+) and is separate to Porsche Connect or Porsche Charging Service. My insurer here in Ireland (CHUBB) requires a remotely monitored alarm service as part of its policy coverage terms.
I might try and shop around for one it seems expensive at €375 a year. I've a good quote from power insurance broker in Limerick, not sure who it's with though.
The charging card I might skip doesn't look very competitive.
How much is the charge for Porsche connect, do you need it, I think android auto will do me if the car can use my phone data..

Yes we all did - correspondence from Porsche yesterday. Plus will replace standardnin time.
Interesting, because I only found out after reading the news here. No correspondence by Porsche France at all. Neither by email or in the app??

Do you get anything else for the €375, does it cover data in the car for example? When I had a test drive Waze and Spotify were working away in android auto but wasn't sure if it was pulling the data from my phone or inbuilt car Sim.
It's 3yrs old next month i'm sure what I'll have to pay for besides extended warranty.

Hopefully picking it up Thursday in Dublin.
Car Security is an annual subscription.

Porsche Connect services are in addition but may be bundled with your car purchase.

Looks like all UK based owners were fortunate enough to have this Your Power, Your Way email this morning around 5am.

You may be “lucky” to get yours this week, perhaps they’re going around country by country.

Damn, they are killing off the €0,07c IONITY pricing in Norway.
Yes, these prices are complete rubbish in Norway. It's 20% cheaper to pay the providers directly. Ionity is also no longer competitive. Considerably cheaper to get an ionity membership for 5 euros/month and get a discounted rate that way. Although I guess the convenience of the charging card is worth something...

Fully agree with this, think this is the right conclusion. You could even pay a touch more (8 euros per month) to get an even more discounted rate.

Thinking of paying for ionity power subscription to get 43p/kw. Had the Taycan for over 3 years and was using Ionity for the slightly cheaper free ongoing Porsche subscription. If I join Ionity scheme can I still plug and charge as normal without having to swipe the card?

No, plug and charge is tied to your porsche subscription.

Without it, you would pay the full price.

If you plan to use the ionity subscription, you need to deactivate plug & charge

My original Porsche subscription has expired so no longer get the lowest Ionity cost. Just using plug and charge which offers a slight Porsche discount. I’ll take out the Ionity subscription with the 43p/kw and lose the plug and charge. Thanks.

Spreadsheet time!

As at today's prices:
  • Porsche Charging Service Plus: £168pa gets you Ionity, Porsche dealers and Charging Lounges, and a few other places in Europe at 39p (and lots of others at 59p plus blocking fee after 60 min)
  • Ionity: £87pa gets you Ionity at 43p (and nothing else).
I'll let someone else build an equation :)

PS The Porsche price list says "Limited offering. Valid until 31.12.2025" with no explanation what that means.

having never charged outside of home, can anyone advise if the Porsche Charging Service Plus can be cancelled at any time or minimum of one year? As an infrequent traveller needing public charging is it possible to subscribe for a select month at a time? Thanks - no clear answers online or t&c’s.
