No Memory for seat heat?

I've found the base of the seat gets warmer than the backrest. There's an adjustment for that under comfort settings but it doesn't get saved so always reverts to previous "0". I have the seat memory function but obviously this is a separate adjustment. I'm not exactly going to break down in tears if this can't be fixed but seems odd it doesn't remember your preference...

As far as I know, beside seat position, taycan does not remember ANYTHING from one startup to another.

It's something they seem to have fixed on the new J1.2 taycans.

Those settings (seat back vs bottom) save in my car. Not sure what is going on with yours.

Have you explicitly saved the settings with your key memory (door button 1, 2, etc? If not try that.

Yes, mirror position and steering wheel are attached to seat position as far as I could notice.

PCM settings such as what? It doesn't remember heating settings, i have to turn on back seat air for my dog every time.

It doesn't remember any changes made to driving profiles.

It doesn't remember what music i was playing when i turned off the car. Not even the app i was listing music on: spotify/apple music/radio.

Sometimes it doesn't even remember spotify login.

Taycan j1 is basically a car with the memory of a goldfish.

But according to the youtubers that got in J1.2, all these are solved in J1.2. And since it is software, fingers crossed for j1 update.

Only AC settings are stored in connection with heating. Seat heat, cooling not.

Spotify / Apple Music periodically drops off when PCM updates are doing the rounds as in the last 10 days. All fully restored automatically.
My only gripe is the lack of customer communication when this is planned.

Only individual drive mode will store settings and all.others will revert to their default (by design). Same on any Porsche.

Sounds like you have some issues that I've not experienced when using the same apps. Perhaps the car would benefit from a hard reset.

Mine does.

And as long as I don't take out the USB stick and replace it, it remembers the track etc I was playing.

Now, if only they'd make better use of the media tube and it's list function, so you could change artists and sources etc, it would be great.

Remembering settings could easily be a selectable item. It'd be easy to do and give ultimate configurability.

That makes sense and would be a great solution, unfortunately though it does not appear to work.

Can anyone verify that seat memory settings include the heating bias? Then I will assume I'm doing something wrong somewhere...

Every morning in winter I have to press a PCM button up to 8 (EIGHT) times......

-Seat heating button 3 times as it has defaulted to 1, I want 2 so I have to scroll 0,3,2
-Car
-Comfort
-Drivers Seat
-Heating balance
-+2 Back bias

I don't like a sweaty bum from sitting on a hot plate but I love warm lumbar and kidneys

It never saves, one of the few irritating things about the Taycan

Probably the most irritating thing when I think about it. Very irritating!
