Good luck with the hybrid Evoque. My wife has one and it is playing up. Frequently shows EV unavailable. Been for investigation and had a control unit of some sort replaced then fixed with an oil change. Yes, really. But still behaving oddly. Back for investigation next month.Thinking about swopping back from OVO charge anytime to octopus Intelligent as just got the wife a hybrid evoque and think OI may now be better as I can charge the taycan for 6 hours and trickle 3 pin plug charge the evoque at the same time, and this should cover the 12kw battery.
just had the below through from OVO. Has anyone had what octopus will be reducing rates to in April?

Yes, I’ve read they can be a bit temperamental! I’m on an Evoque forum and your issue seems to be discussed a lot. Has the HVCH been changed? Alot of the issues seem to stem from this ( sounds similar to taycan heater issues) Ha ha, an oil change sounds random! It’s under warranty at mo, and will def be renewing the warranty when it expires! Good to know on charge. Are you on OI I take it?Good luck with the hybrid Evoque. With regard to charging on a 13A plug, it won’t quite do a full charge over the 6 hours. It is very close though.
I think it is the HV heater that was changed. Then an oil change. It kept changing to petrol at 15mphYes, I’ve read they can be a bit temperamental! 10 page thread on this issue. Seems they believe not running the engine for long periods causes some sort of oil dilution hence your oil change. If you’ve had this and heater issue done sounds like you could be in for the long haul!I think it is the HV heater that was changed. Then an oil change. It kept changing to petrol at 15mph
I’ve had the same email but my new standing charge is 64p, and my unit rate is about 0.4p under yours. Frustrating because for 8 months of the year we don’t use any grid electricity at all (which I suppose is why they’ve whacked my daily standing charge up)Thinking about swopping back from OVO charge anytime to octopus Intelligent as just got the wife a hybrid evoque and think OI may now be better as I can charge the taycan for 6 hours and trickle 3 pin plug charge the evoque at the same time, and this should cover the 12kw battery.

Surely they don’t base standing charge on individual properties do they? That’s extortionate!I’ve had the same email but my new standing charge is 64p, and my unit rate is about 0.4p under yours. had an email from Octopus about the prices dropping from April but this doesn't seem to apply to the Intelligent Go but rather those on flexible and fixed.Surely they don’t base standing charge on individual properties do they? That’s extortionate!
anyone got and octopus charges from April?

I got mine down to about <8p/kWh. Only 1.5% of my electricity use is at peak rate.Same here. Only the gas price is reducing for me by 1.5p/kWh.
I’m quite content on Intelligent Octopus Go. Having load shifted my heavy household usage to between 23:30 & 05:30 I only pay 14p/kWh for ALL my electricity usage. The more I use the Taycan the cheaper it gets![]()
I don't think the EV tariff has changed from 7p has it?Thinking about swopping back from OVO charge anytime to octopus Intelligent as just got the wife a hybrid evoque and think OI may now be better as I can charge the taycan for 6 hours and trickle 3 pin plug charge the evoque at the same time, and this should cover the 12kw battery.

A neighbour just had a fire started by their ~1yr old tumble drier. Fortunately no one hurt but damage (smoke really) has them out of the house for up to a year and a squirming insurer too! Anyway, the attending fireman in charge said this sort of thing is their bread and butter now. Had a very strong view you shouldn't leave white goods going while you're out of the house / asleep.Same here. Only the gas price is reducing for me by 1.5p/kWh.

On OVO, no not that I’m aware of still 7p from April. The email was just on the standard element, presume 7p will remain the same.I don't think the EV tariff has changed from 7p has it?
