So, they are not offering a loaner and the HV tray order was approved by Porsche Germany today, I've told them to put the new protection plate on and get my car to me whilst we wait for parts. This is getting beyond a joke now.
This is what the PCNA CSR sent me a little while ago:
Please rest assured your vehicle is in good hands at Tom Wood Porsche. Our Porsche Cars North America management has confirmed that Tom Wood Porsche has handled the diagnostics and parts ordering properly. Unfortunately, goodwill, a courtesy loaner vehicle nor rental reimbursement can be provided in this case, especially since this is an insurance related repair. All parts have been release for transport from Porsche Germany to Tom Wood Porsche. Once the battery parts arrive at Tom Wood Porsche, the repair will be completed. Should you have further questions about the specifics of the repair, please consult Tom Wood service directly.

I think you just dated yourself there. The above is an example of a scripted form letter from the 90's. AI is much more wordy. Here is what I got from a free online AI chatbot when I asked it to write a non-committal, pacifying email about a repair performed by an affiliate which is dragging on. I used ACME as the company name/brand.
