Anyone with PIWIS?

I tried searching for a list of coding settings specific for the Taycan, but could not find anything. Anyone that has a PIWIS or has changed settings, please chime in. I can keep updating this list with other people's requests and solutions.

- Always on rear LED bar - settings here: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/how-to-keep-rear-led-strip-always-on.17087/page-3
- Turn off the chime when the seatbelt is not on - Can be done, but a lot of places won't do it for safety/legal reasons.
- Disable trunk beeping: (DONE - waiting on code settings and will update)
- Raise volume of the Electric Sports Sound: tried, but couldn't figure it out. Not sure if possible.
- Have Electric Sports Sound on when starting the car: tried, but couldn't figure it out. Not sure if possible.
- Have Sport mode be the default when starting the car: tried, but couldn't figure it out. Not sure if possible.

BCM2 > Flasher_light_control > Motorway_flashing_flashing_cycles
Default value is is 03, can be changed to any odd value (e.g. 5)

- Delay in Boot Open with Remote Key
BCM2 > Activation_time_to_open_rear_lid_with_remote_control > Activation_time_to_open_rear_lid_with_remote_control
Default value is 200 ms; can be changed to lower or higher (e.g. 600 ms to avoid accidental button press that opens the boot/trunk)

This car is essentially a software-defined-vehicle. Seems like no reason lots of people couldn't be tweaking settings to their personal preferences.

Working:

1) Turn Indicators Blink count
BCM2 > Flasher_light_control > Motorway_flashing_flashing_cycles
Default value is is 03, can be changed to any odd value (e.g. 5)

2) Delay in Boot Open with Remote Key
BCM2 > Activation_time_to_open_rear_lid_with_remote_control > Activation_time_to_open_rear_lid_with_remote_control
Default value is 200 ms; can be changed to lower or higher (e.g. 600 ms to avoid accidental button press that opens the boot/trunk)

Not Working/ Need more checking:

a) Welcome Light
Welcome Light > BCM1 > kodierwert > Bitfield welcome_light
Default value: not_active, changed to active - but no visible difference

b) DRL Animation
BCM1 > kodierwert > Bitfield animation_s|_dr_ignition_off
BCM1 > kodierwert > Bitfield animation_s|_dr_ignition_on
Default values for both are not_active; changed to active - but no visible difference

Q: Does anyone know how to decrease the delay for mirrors closing on remote lock?
If one continues to hold the remote lock key, eventually the mirrors close (and windows go up, if open).
- Does anyone know where this delay value is stored?

I am aware that I can configure (in the PCM) the mirrors to auto close along with remote-lock , but that is not what I am looking for.

There is no support for this. The WiFi application in the car is not designed to act as a client to connect to a WiFi Access Point.

Ah so the whole thing about Russian cars (and perhaps other non-Porsche Connect-market cars) having ability to connect via WiFi instead of LTE is an actual physical difference, not just a software config difference?

I guess it could also be the case that the car doesn’t have good support for fallback networking — WiFi when available, LTE when not. So these other market cars are configured for WiFi-only because of lack of LTE. I’m just surprised it’s not a config value.

I've got these client mode wifi settings in my last VAL, so maybe its possible to turn on.

Has anybody found how to code the delay for shutting down the car? i.e. change from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
