Did that, and maybe I'm stupid, but I still can't find a complete description of exactly what 'WRW1' is. It is some type of 'monitoring software', but I don't see a detailed description anywhere.
@W1NGE captured the installation message here: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/t...ring-software-update.24448/page-6#post-374745. The feeling is this is a prerequisite for this upcoming battery monitoring software; this update itself is NOT the battery monitoring software.

The WRW1 update arrived at last in Switzerland yesterday.
The only visible change: my settings/system/software information screen shows nothing: all the different versions are replaced by an empty string.
EDIT - and of course after writing this, that screen now works fine. I did the updated yesterday morning, the software version was buggy yesterday the whole day and this morning, and at last it updated.

Which update do you mean? The WRW1 thingy or the final (available by end Q1) software that gives us our cars back?
thanks

WRW 1 one.

in Switzerland they started sending the arb6 letter again, 2nd time I receive it, stating that they have changed the date for the battery monitoring software to end of Q2

So folks, stop expecting this software anytime before end of year on your car

I don’t think it is available yet according to my local porsche centre - just the software that gets the system ready for it.

I just handed over my MY23 for the 2 years service and recalls. The actual software is NOT ready, the OTA (wrw1) and the update in the shop are preparations. They will skip it on mine since I asked to do everything when Porsche had everything ready. I plannend multiple road trips and they should beta test on test vehicles instead of mine.

I think you’ve overlooked the fact that your (well, our) cars are 1 giant beta test.

Haha, I hope I don't jinx myself, but did not have any issues (warranty related) so far. My MY23 seems pretty stable and solid.

Good to know the OTA is just a preparation. I received it three days ago on my ‘22 Taycan. I did not notice any differences since.

Curious when they will be ready rolling it out.

Never received any letter on this issue btw.

Nope but as there is no reference to join the dots between the two I can only surmise.
Definitely only the preliminary software to get ready for main software that has been put forward - see latest letter from Porsche which confirms what Tonbridge Porsche told me at my two year service.
