I'm definitely in the minority, but I actually hope they keep the packaging similar to how it is. Yes, cargo space and legroom may suffer, but expanding all of this could result in a "jellybeanification" of the overall shape of the car like the Mercedes EQ series (the worst offender of this), model 3, and Lucid Air (not quite as bad).
The taycan is a uniquely attractive car in this segment, precisely because it sacrifices some interior space for aesthetics.
Also I sincerely hope they don't pivot toward self-driving. The point of the car is to enjoy the drive as the actual driver.
