I'm on the East coast of the US and I can always get an appointment within days. And they always provide a loaner, which is usually a substandard base Macan. But at least it's something.I agree they need to recruit more people, but it is not mechanical guys any longer. They are understaffed with technicians to work on EV’s at least here. I can get my old 996 service appointment in a week or so while the Taycan needs several weeks notice. And a loaner is seldom provided. When it is it is a clapped out Audi A1. Porsche services here is abysmal
If serviced by Porsche at the correct intervals the brake fluid is always replaced at 2 years. Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time (hygrophobic) which if left unattended will lead to spongy brakes and a potential dangerous situaiton.Brake fluid has. 2 year lifespan. This is common and you were correctly quoted. However in practice, few people replace their brake fluid every 2 years.
I think that might be dealer hogwash! Is the Brake flush on the Taycan any different from an ICE porsche? My dealer said that because of the regenerative braking, the procedure was more involved and costly.
This is what the Maintenance Booklet that came with my (2021) car says:My car is currently at the dealership for an electric system error (link to that thread). I have ~37K miles on the odometer so I asked about 40K maintenance while it was there. I was quoted $3600 which included brake replacement (they didn't inspect the brakes) that they claimed was what Porsche recommended and offered to print something for me stating that. I declined and called Porsche support as soon as I got home. I had Porsche email me the official schedule and details. Here's the content of the email.

This is great, thank you! I don't have access to my user manual since it's sitting in the glove box at the dealership. This is what the Maintenance Booklet that came with my (2021) car says:
