The smart creators' title+thumbnail creation is very data driven. They will try different ones, the ones which get most engagement (also, make most money) win. So what drives it is not creators, but viewers. Therefore, it's not creators that have to figure it out, but rather the rest of the world - a much tougher proposition, so much less likely to ever happen.

@Sar your profile pic gave me some trauma parked in that tight spot - after nearly 6 years, I picked up my first door ding this weekend on a PCA driving event. Happened in a parking lot at a Scheels. Looked like the a$$hole must have kicked his door out full force. Ugh.

I was wondering why you hadn't posted it here yet -- I greatly appreciate your video reviews, and your participation here is most certainly welcome.

The PCM works great for me against ABRP on my phone.

Perhaps I'm just unlucky with frequently driving a route that stymies the PCM.

Here are four possible routes from Amherst MA to Twin Mountain NH, all of which have almost exactly the same anticipated travel time:

Even before readily available on-line mapping, back in 2006, I would often experiment with the second and the fourth, and they always came out almost identical for travel time.

But as you move down the list, the mileage and speed significantly increase.
PCM will always suggest the fourth, then add in a charging stop, even though the second route would not require a charging stop.

Plus the PCM would always suggest the EA in West Lebanon NH, which was so dysfunctional that on Labor Day 2023 all four chargers were broken. They’ve all been replaced since then, although can be skunked with long waits. I’m not sure if the PCM now more wisely suggests the Rivian there, or also in Brattleboro VT.

And in reverse, PCM will often route through Northampton to reach Amherst, which adds mileage, speed, *AND* travel time! Plus a charging stop for even more total trip time.

@262X40 if you’re looking for a top tier ceramic coating that can be applied yourself, provided you can keep the car dry for a minimum 1 day (and optimally up to 5 days for the full cure), I can personally vouch for Kamikaze coatings (ISM 3.0, Miyabi; Zipang if you want to splurge but not necessary); for your metallic white paint, Miyabi alone would give a nice candy gloss and easiest to apply; if there are defects and swirls and you don’t want to deal with mechanical paint polishing, ISM 3.0 would be better option- can be ordered from Esotetic Detail and they have great how-to videos. Try to catch it on sale during the off-season and apply it in Spring!

I watched the video. Some interesting content that I did not know about. Did anyone notice that he did not call out the Heater but rather "HVAC system with faulty circuit board soldering connection".
