Painted 21" RS Spyder wheels

I know this comes down to personal preference, but I absolutely love how these turned out.

I had my RS Spyder wheels painted satin black today. Very happy and was only $800 total for a nice appearance change.

Switched tot winter wheels last week en my RS Spyder wheels going in for some scratch repairs. Also considering to let them get a mat coating like you did.

I’m only concerned about small roadside scratches, they become more visible on all black rims.

swicthed also from turbonite centercaps to the versions you have, to keep all the logos (bonnet en steering wheel) the same. In case of a paint job I would prefer a center cap without a chrome ring (personal preference).

Same, I’m thinking about switching the center caps, but will likely live with them like this for a while first. Like everything Porsche you can configure a new car my chrome ring center cap or all black from the factory. It’s literally the only chrome on the whole car at the moment, but very small.

For scratches/curb rash, while they are more visible, they’re also easier to repair (touch up paint).

These are my first black wheels on a car (other than my wife’s Lincoln Aviator black label).

It’s kinda funny, when the black wheel trend started a long time ago, I really didn’t like them. But for some reason they’re my favorite at the moment on certain cars or with certain color combos.

Next on the list of exterior controversial mods: Adding the Taycan 4S rear badges! I don’t like that it looks like a base model at the moment. I’ve always wanted a 4S Porsche since a friends dad had one in the 90s, so I kinda want to see it. Ordered some eBay ones in glossy black.

Honestly I didn’t either until after I bought the car. Saw the GTS wheels and loved them……without even realizing I had the same wheels!

Kinda crazy how different they look with the gloss black/brushed metal look.

I thought about going gloss black, only reason I didn’t is that on my 4S, none of the black trim is glossy.

For you, your whole paint job is gloss black so I bet that looks amazing.

Also looking amazing in gloss black. Have gloss black trims, so this is also a great option.

I went the other way—had them in Satin Black but then had them repainted in Satin Platinum (OB5) instead...

...and here are my new winter wheels as well: Porsche Tequipment 20", also custom repainted in Satin Platinum (Porsche color code OB5) with Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV tyres (I think the indoor lighting makes them look a bit brighter than they do outside):
