I have two rattles (one on each side) that were not there during my test drive... I guess they uncovered during shipping. Very annoying/disappointing. I haven't been able to pin point them yet... Anyone know if Porsche will look at/try to fix these on a used CPO car (it's only 6 months old) if I am able to locate them?
Yes, I’ve had good luck with rattle repairs on CPO. I had one on a Targa that was deceptive in its source, it ended up being the wind stop.

Nice work, not sure about this water spot removal process... never seen that done this way, acid and polish should cut it.
You didn't do full front ppf? most of the chips are gonna be on the painter bumper and hood
I'm conflicted on PPF. It only partially protects and will need to be removed in 5 to 7 years. That and the cost (would have increased my total price by about 60%)

I get it on every single car. It gives me peace of mind and lets me enjoy the drive without stressing about chips.

In the continuing saga of this car, I charged at 50% at a 350kW charger this afternoon. Unfortunately I forgot to precondition the battery, but I did hit 150kW for a short time.

I also tracked down one of the rattles (drivers front door panel) thanks to a tone generator app and a bluetooth connection to the car (reproduced on the road and removed with the push of an elbow). And I think I have an idea where the 2nd is (passenger back door panel), but I'm going to need to get my wife to drive the car while I'm pushing on things. I'll likely schedule a service with Los Gatos when I can reproduce both rattles at will.

I hit a pothole while trying to push on things while driving; it's a bad idea to drive distracted and doubly so with the 21" rims :\ Doesn't look like it amounted to much... no pressure loss and it drove fine for 30 minutes after.

It's a really amazing car to drive outside of the occasional rattles.

Try the IKEA garage in Palo Alto. I've gotten 315kW off Electrocute America there.
Show up with low SoC and preconditioned battery for best results.

If you don't precondition in the winter you will never get over 150.. the car gauge that shows you max charging is pretty accurate unless the station has limits, which most EAs in our area are because they are at full capacity all the time and they are sharing power with other dispensers or have utility limits...

Rattles are frustrating, but if you are under warranty and you can reproduce it, the dealer will take care of it. The rattles are not hard to manage as doors can be easily taken apart and put back with felt or other materials. Other areas like the trunk may be more challenging, but any rattle that I had in my cars, I was able to track it down and take care of it.

As far as charging, I am not following the rationale for charge at 50% at a DC charger. This is not the ideal pre-condition so you should not be expecting fast charging. Also, many obsess with peak charging speeds, and my real world experience is the opposite, I would rather have steady lower speed than high peak and then steep drop. I prefer using Battery Friendly setting when DC charging as a result.

Just playing around testing things. I had just completed driving around, diagnosing rattles on different surfaces and speeds and was headed to the grocery store to pick a few things up. Along the way I passed the charger in question and decided at the last minutes to stop and see what it looked like at 50%. I have charging at home so I really don't need to use the DC stuff at all, so I need to create testing situations to make sure things work as expected.

Makes sense. I did the same thing when I got the car and trying DC chargers around. Your intent was just to let us know. My misunderstanding because as soon as I saw 50% and slow speed, we all jumped to problem solve something that is not a problem.
