Got the car, going to take a few days to register it.

Fitted the winter wheels with 12mm spacers the hubs already have rust from factory :)

The 12mm spacers are bang on for the CT with 20" wheels.

Removing the rear wiper cover is a pain, I think it's impossible without breaking at least one of the myriad of little tabs.
On the bright side breaking one or two of the guides does not affect the fit at all.

Here is a photo of the new one, the front part goes into a hook, and additionally the washer hose is clipped in there:

You start removing it from the rear by prying it apart and lifting the back just enough to allow it to slide forward:

Requires more force than I'm comfortable with, but since I had the new part ready it didn't matter too much.

Here is the rear with it fitted, looks more posh:

Whats left is fit the plate holders, register the car and put plates on it. Hopefully done this week.

Then it's going for front PPF + ceramic coat.
Thanks for the high-gloss black rear wiper cover idea @prj . Not many CTs in Porsche Finder had this optioned- it’s inexpensive and an easy DIY. I just got mine installed, and managed not to break any tabs on the old cap. Because it’s a rigid piece of plastic with just a little give, the trick is to unclip each side of the wide base separately; I think I did bottom first, then top. Removing it was easy after the first clip.

As you said, it works well with the CT, and such a good fit in combination with the gloss black window frames, rear emblem, roof rails, door handles, ORDP in gloss black, CT design wheels in gloss black.

For those in the US- Porsche Gaudin (Las Vegas) has it for $38 & $10 shipping. PN 9J0-955-435-A. Upon providing your VIN they may say the part doesn’t match your vehicle- just reply with “Order As-Is”

@Bennachie before you begin, it's probably safest to put a towel between the wiper and your glass, as you may happen to remove the wiper blade from the arm during this process, and you don't want to to risk glass damage.

The first tab to remove is the one I have highlighted in red in these photos; it's the side facing the bottom. Just use 2 or 3 of your fingers with some force to stretch the rigid plastic just enough for it to unclip. Then move to the other side and do the same (it should be much easier at this point). The cap would be mostly loose by this point for the remaining smaller clips to easily be removed.

Another helpful tip I often use when renovating factory parts and being concerned about clip or tab breakage, is that I get our a hair dryer (not a heat gun) and warm up the part I am going to remove, for as we know the warmer plastic is the more flexible it is, the less chance of something breaking off in the removal.

Another location I have used the hair dryer warming technique was to remove the factory top half of the door mirror caps before replacing them with aftermarket visible carbon fiber replacment mirrors cap covers.

This got derailed some, but current status as follows:

1. Suspension strut on backorder in Germany, no one has any clue when it arrives, it's just out of stock. Car doesn't error anymore though since the weather got warmer.
2. I definitely have some rattles. The annoying one is when the passenger seat starts vibrating due to unevenness in the road then the RSE display hinges start rattling. I don't recall that on my Turbo S. Of course this does not happen if someone is actually sitting in the seat.
3. Had a yellow warning for left charge door once, but haven't had it since.
4. A PCM annoyance - when switching mode at the same time as AA gets enabled, or just quickly after starting up the car then the suspension firmness setting that pops up and is supposed to go away, just never does have to close that manually.

The single strut issue is weird. Even more strange is the unavailability of a replacement...
The fact that it's bad and leaks is not weird. But that parts are not available to order for a brand new car is ridiculous and at some point illegal.

Like some tiny crap company teetering on the edge of insolvency?

Touche.

I don't think Porsche goes out of business any time soon, but margin compression is certainly a thing.

Next Tuesday is when Porsche puts out its annual business report. Let’s see what it says. Any positive financial news, again a disasterous quarter of only net $40M profit, sales rebounding or what?

Hopefully they can get the tarrifs they paid. That should help them a little

Ordered the puddle lights from the site recommended on here by @SergeyIndy. Probably gonna take a while to arrive.
Took the same design as the original ones with just the "Porsche" text.

To be honest the original Porsche ones are really subpar, there is color shift at the end of the edges and the contrast really isn't the best - looks like a blurry mess.
I had them on my Turbo S and I was surprised at how poor they were.

Going to see if the aftermarket is better - from the photos online it does look much sharper. Price wise it's in the category of the rear gloss cover. The 4 lights were $97 shipped - 1/4 of the price of the option in the configurator in EU.

Btw, a note about J1.2 that I have not seen discussed on this forum.

If you have Auto Regen and you have either traction control activation below a certain wheel torque or ABS activation above a certain negative desired torque (regen), then you get a white notification in the dash "Automatic Recupration not available" and it switches to "Regen Off".
You can re-enable it immediately if you like though.

This basically means it's too slippery out to use automatic recuperation. J1.1 did not have this issue.

Since over here 3-4 months of the year you're driving the car constantly on the limit due to the low traction available, then this is kinda interesting.
